Sword of Ciri

⚔️ I'm excited to present a new design for Ciri's sword, created based on the book description and under the supervision of blacksmith Elthien (Vojtěch Jelínek - Instagram link).

I made every effort to accurately reproduce the details described by Sapkowski but introduced one change: the image of the swallow now adorns the pommel instead of being engraved on the blade. The ricasso symbolically represents a portal to another world—an element reflecting Ciri’s essence as the Lady of Time and Space. ✨🌌

The sword retains all the canonical elements: the ornate blade, fullers, characteristic proportions, and symbols, including the elven mandala (blathan caerme) and the tower struck by lightning—a symbol of chaos and the destruction of order.

This sword (a mini-bastard) was made according to Ciri's specifications but turned out to be too heavy. Its blade length was approximately 76 cm (30"), the handle was 23 cm (9"), and the total length was about 99 cm (39").
We can assume that Zireael, the perfect match for Ciri, was likely of a similar length. 😊

⚔️ Рада представить новый дизайн меча Цири, созданный на основе книжного описания и под присмотром кузнеца Элтиена (Vojtěch Jelínek). Я постаралась точно воспроизвести детали, описанные Сапковским, но внесла изменение: изображение ласточки теперь украшает навершие вместо гравировки на лезвии. Рикассо символически изображает портал в другой мир — элемент, отражающий сущность Цири как Владычицы Времени и Пространства.✨🌌 Меч сохранил все канонические элементы: ажур на лезвии, долы, характерные пропорции и символы, включая эльфью мандалу (blathan caerme) и башню, поражённую молнией — символ хаоса и разрушения порядка. Меч (мини-бастард), который был изготовлен по параметрам Цири, но оказался слишком тяжёлым, имел длину клинка около 76 см (30"), рукоять — 23 см (9"), а общая длина составляла примерно 99 см (39").
