)O( Hail The Dragon )O(

The equinox has come upon us and departed.  I find the elusive state of perfect balance a divine extravagance, but I find its pursuit to be a daily inevitability.  My life continues to become deeper, richer, more vibrant, and more unapologetically unique.  Here in Cambodia, it is normal to revere mysterious reptilian deities/archetypes/mythical beings.  I am discovering new forms of contentment, satisfaction, and peace.  I never knew peace is a multifaceted thing that has wild colors and deep emotions.  I thought it was simply the absence of chaos and conflict.  Quan Yin riding Her dragon makes so much more sense to me now.  

I have been experiencing new forms of love and community as my roots take hold around here.  My landlord is a dear friend.  My boss is my friend and we will remain friends after we both leave our current positions.  My gym leader is my friend.  I went to a birthday party for 6 musicians last night and everyone there was my friend.  Sometimes girls grab me and do a little fan-girl freak out.  Sometimes dudes high five me and ask if whatever they just did meets my approval.  It's wild.  

Khmer New Year is coming up and everyone is getting excited.  I'm going out to buy my water gun today.  Can't go into this mayhem unarmed!  I am so hyped to be going back to Siem Reap.  It's so beautiful there!  Angkor Wat is in the background, radiating mindblowing ancient vibes as we party our asses off.  It feels.... so.... eternal.  Sure this is the 21st Century, but humans have been gathering near Angkor Wat to celebrate reality for almost a thousand years. 

Right after Khmer New Year, I will be getting my tattoo.  I can't wait to feel all the Fae vibes and Deven energy every time my left foot strikes the ground.  My artist, Ona, is a genius woman from Spain.  Her style is freaking epic, old-school, and crystal clear.  She is also one of my fire dancing gurus.  I am going to have my fire fans fabricated here so we can dance together.  It's been cool but also sad to learn that I just don't love poi like I love wielding fans.  I'm gonna keep training in poi tho!  The crew should all be able to do basic poi if we're gonna be truly professional.  

The Southeast Asian games are coming.  I have no idea what that is going to do to my city, but it's gonna be big and crazy and hectic!  We got this.  Phnom Penh will make it through a kabillion tourists descending upon us like a tidal wave!  I believe in us!  

I can feel the need to design an occult practice around everything I am currently integrating.  Whatever comes of that will be posted here before anywhere else.  Thanks for riding with me, my loves.  The antics will continue.
