In all honesty I prefer to work with eevee, cos... you can make it to look good as well, yet it faster and unlike cycles it doesn't take a heavy hit in terms of render time when volumetrics are involved, with eevee I might not be able to make results as realistic sure, but I am able to make renders much more artistic.
