Outfits poll
Added 2024-10-15 05:23:29 +0000 UTCGuys I need your opinion in regards to the outfits I use.
it is about the type of outfits I use, you probably noticed that the selection of the outfits I include is typically mix of ingame and custom outfits, meanwhile I see in the works most of the users do with my models and custom outfits are very rarely included in these, hence I want to know which option you prefer, keep everything as it is or shift focus to the outfits that are relevant to the game character is taken from (for example character may wear outfits of other ingame characters, not only his own outfit).

I almost always use the default outfits/alternate(in-game) but sometimes I combine them with your customs. For example Kasumi Goto, I use that black underwear with a top outfit that you added when the default outfit is open. To clarify I use a lot of own sculpting and masking, basically cutted the default outfit open, it was a closed full-body suit originally, then I masked out parts from the custom outfit and added it to the original. Because it makes sense to have underwear underneath the default suit and so on. So I like that you include a custom outfit that makes sense for the character. Gives a lot more options.

We'd have a treasure trove of outfits to pull from and you can cut down the workload significantly.

2024-10-15 15:03:55 +0000 UTCThe best I can give on this is that I prefer to have more alternate outfits "In the general style of" the character in their origin universe, but still sexier than what the official offerings of said universe provide us.

2024-10-15 11:32:36 +0000 UTCI'm honestly a little torn on this because both are super nice lol. By default I think keeping characters wearing recognizable 'title' specific outfits fits immersion better. But custom outfits are also sweet as hell! Maybe stick to mostly in game outfits? Like keep it game themed outfits for the most part, But maybe offer a single sexy lingerie or tight workout outfit? (Both are on the easier side of things to set up which help on workload.) That or maybe instead of doing custom outfits, do 'Cosplay' outfits and reuse assets? Save you a little time and still give out options? And that still gives you a lot of options for the direction to take. Cause like you can slap a school girl, nurse, or maid outfit on and that will be well received. Crossover cosplays would also be a decent idea, maybe pick a random outfit from another title that looks good? Like here's 2B wearing Tifa's Clothes or LuLu dressed as Harley Quinn.

2024-10-15 11:25:54 +0000 UTCI would say to keep doing both, unless, limiting the number of custom outfits would free up some of your time allowing for more in-game outfit options. Like if a character has several outfit skins in a game, being able to do, let's say, a couple of those, instead of 1 in-game outfit and some custom ones. I hope I worded that in a way that makes sense lol.
