I don't want to even think about work while I'm taking a break. But thanks a lot. I'm glad that you find my style of storytelling enjoyable. It really makes me want to stick with this job, and not give up.

Not bothered at all lol, I've had some bad burn out in my life before so can relate in that sense, though not from lense of a content creator. I imagine it can be somewhat of a....destructive loop of "unable to put out content at desired time" > "feel bad about not putting out content" > "feeling bad makes content creation hard to think about" > repeat, that's my oversimplified assumption at least. Writing/art was never my forte so I don't really have any perspective or advice on that front, but a change of pace/scenery was something that helped me out when I was feeling burnt out with my career path (or even a straight up break like Nicolas B said). Anyway, here's to hoping you're able to figure out something that works for you. I'm always looking forward to more FS, but I also really enjoyed reading The Substitute so I can say its your content style as a whole that I look forward to for what its worth.

Hi, I'm glad you ask, haha. I'll be honest with you then. It's both the comic making and FS that burns me out. (real life stuff is kinda tough this year, but it's a lot more manageable.) Nowadays, I really don't know how, but it's really hard to keep working compare to what I usually do before this. In previous years, I can keep working as much as my physical body gives out. then sleep and repeat. But now, it's mostly staring blankly into the monitor, typing, delete, then redoing. And the cycle repeats. I still love FS so much, and want to finish it on a good notes. But, when I started working on it, it feels like a chore instead of something fun, haha... And it's getting tiresome real quick. I always feel bad when I just can't release anything due to this. Of course, there's a lot of story I want to make but I feel stuck and have to finish FS first and foremost because there's a lot of people waiting.

Thanks guys. I never try to extend/milk or whatever they call it. What good does that bring? It only leaves a bad taste in everyone's mouth, and me the most. I prefer to finish the story as soon as possible but I can't ignore the quality of the comic. If it's not good enough for me, then I just can't release it. I really love this story, and don't want to ruin it with thoughtless chapters. Thanks a lot for the support, really.

You are right, sometimes changing the routine, doing other things can be more motivated (or maybe just taking a break resting is important to). The main thing is to not overwork and taking çare of yourself.

Was just checking in on this post just to see if there's been any update chitchat but now commenting just to let it be known that still happy to continue supporting you, Moonlly. Burn out can be a harsh spiraling thing. I would like to ask though, does the burn out stem from just working on FS (it has been quite the long project) or comic making as a whole. I only ask cause I wonder if a change of pace would be in order, maybe some other stories you've had on the backburner that maybe feel more appealing. (If its other life stuff obviously no need to say as its not my business)

i can understand people get angry by the situation moonlly used to post one chapter each monday now it is one per month but you are right it was explained that this period is difficult (they probably prefer put her more pressure then it will be harder to release more chapter :') )

I don't know what those angry comments want to achieve... There is literally PINNED post that explains current situation. Why bother asking when you have the answer? Try to create a comic that span more than 2k pages (few years of work btw) with reasonably cohesive storyline and still have motivation and sanity to proceed. Moonly, I wouldn't even bother to reply to them.
