Game Development Update #1
Added 2021-01-28 12:41:45 +0000 UTCHello everyone! Here is the first update about the game I'm currently making, a visual novel named "Transhifter."
First off, I want to say I'm sorry about the delayed delivery of the game. This is the first game I make, so I started it without knowing how much time it takes to make a game. So yeah, the demo is still incomplete. Even with my best effort, it still needs more time.
Next, let's talk about the game itself! As some of you guys may know, this game will have many routes and choices to make. The main theme will be about a software that can do many things like hypnosis, body swap, transformation, Possession. I will focus heavily on identity theft because it's one of the biggest reason why I love TSF/TG so much. The story will be in a slow pace like The Substitute and Forever Summer. And of course I also love realistic changes, so I also include it in this game as well~ 😁
My plan right now is to finish the prologue (which is about 40% right now). After that, I will make small introductions to 2-3 routes for you guys to get a taste of the game. Then I will ask for your opinions about the game, like which route you guys want to see more. And I'll go from there. It might sound a bit ambitious, but I aim to make a route for each character, and I might add more characters into the game if it's doing really well.
Lastly, I still don't know the exact dates when I will finish the demo, but I will release it as soon as possible. (hopefully no more than three months.) I put a lot of effort into this project, and I hope everyone will enjoy it. And if everyone enjoys it, I'll consider focusing on making the game after Forever Summer is ended. I think early access for the game will start at 5$ tier, but don't worry the demo will be available for everyone!
I will leave you with the first look at the game. (The guy that holding the game console is the protagonist, and the rest of them are well, other characters, hehe.) 😉 I'll also be releasing a sneak peek images of the game this weekend too~ (for 7$ tier and above)
