i originally heard about this from a true crime podcast. i may be mis-remembering but i'm thinking only you mentioned the sheriff asking the suspect to "try and match exactly" what was being copied...and then the sheriff, not a handwriting expert, decided it was a match. Talk about shoddy, shady police work! Anytime you cover something i may have first heard about elsewhere, you always have multiple critical points that others don't bring up or don't bother to dig far enough. Excellent work, as always AJ and team!
