The Brooklyn Bridge UFO Abduction | The Weirdest Story You'll Ever Hear

Nov 30, 1989, just after 3 AM. New York City. Janet Kimball was driving over the Brooklyn Bridge when her car stalled and slowly rolled to a stop.

After a couple of failed attempts to get the car started, Janet was hit by a bright light. Bright enough that she had to shield her eyes.

The light was coming from an apartment building. Janet thought maybe someone was shooting a movie. Not unusual in New York City.

Then she saw that the light was coming from a saucer-shaped craft hovering *above* the building. OK, it's a science fiction movie, Janet thought.

But it wasn't a movie. This was happening for real.

As Janet's eyes adjusted to the brightness, she saw something levitating in the light. Objects floating up to the saucer.

When she focused, she realized they weren't objects. They were people.

Well, one of them was.

In an instant, the light went out, and the saucer plunged into the East River.

There were 23 eyewitnesses to this event, including one of the highest-ranking politicians in the world.

And people being transported to a UFO by a beam of light in the middle of New York City? That isn't the weirdest part of the story.

This show has such a great balance. AJ can deliver a story that's heavy and Lord hucklefish helps lighten it up. I always walk away from the videos feeling good! Thank you AJ and Lord huckle fish for all you do!

CC Flowers

He does have a certain ability not often found. You mean heckle fish right?!

Kevin Via

Such a master at storytelling. I don't care if it is true. It is always good to hear the way you tell it.

Myra Kness

Oy, book on Amazon is used only, hardcover starting at 12 bucks, paperback THIRTY!! I'll be visiting archive.org. :)

Jim Hoffman

You wouldn't believe how much he read re: Cmte St Germain, for those episodes. Multiple books. I don't remember exact count from our convo last year. AJ must be a speed reader. ;)

Jim Hoffman

William Cooper? That would go deep

Mark william lane

He addressed Phil Schneider in, I believe, the Dulce base episode. He may be hesitant to do a stand-alone episode on Schneider as YouTube suppresses those videos, sometimes even demonetizing them.

MikeD

AJ kind of tipped his hand during the AfterFiles the week before that this episode, without saying what it was, would be more of a debunking. Even if he hadn't, it got so crazy midway through that I knew it couldn't be true. Still, the stories are always fun. This could be a Netflix miniseries.

MikeD

It's only fair, Rvator. We're always assigning homework to him. : -)

MikeD

Loved the long video though thanks AJ!!

Jacob Sipe

Those were my exact thoughts to

Jacob Sipe

The story was amazing, thank you so much! As always, you and Hecklefish did a great job delivering it to us!

Charles Caldwell

You did a great job of telling the tale. I have a difficult time believing her story, there's just too many weird details thrown in, like adding jelly beans and cinnamon to a three layer chocolate cake. Something "tastes" wrong.

Kazren

I had never heard this story before. As always, well done. I don't believe the story is true, although I do disagree ever so slightly with one or your comments. You mentioned, paraphrasing, that you either completely buy her story or you don't; it's all or nothing, meaning everything is true or it's fake. I believe it's possible stories start out real, but then the participants begin to manufacture additional details to stay relevant. It's a problem throughout the UFO community that even the researchers fall victim to.

MikeD

This really well presented yarn will get 2M. And heckelfish needs co-billing on this one. Loved every minute

Dave R

What a crazy story! Thanks for laying out a really wacky, complicated story so clearly. Cheers!

thormusique

What in the actual F*@$, wowweee

Rich Axelrod

Loved it. But the end I wish was more uplifting, lol.

Eric B Wolman

Great episode

TBW

Another great one. i can recall reading a summary of this story in the late 80s. Never struck me as credible. I was living in NYC after Hopkins published "intruders" and always kind of hoped I'd see him around SoHo. Never happened.

Mike Rud

Always knew this was a fishy story ;)

Rogue Gumshield

That was a journey! Fantastic presentation as always AJ :D

Adrian Kemp

Awesome video AJ as always.

Mike Backof

Double tinfoil for this one

Nick Horton

Amazing presentation

Whiskey Tango-Foxtrot

Love WF day!!!!

Kevin Via

Wow! That is one hell of a crazy story.

MONKeEeYboi

Fabulous video though! Love this channel so much and so glad I've subbed to the Patreon as well :D

Paula Unger

Mmmmm.... I don't believe this one. She sounds like a bit of a fantasist...

Paula Unger

Yeeeaah. You make dark entertaining

William Restrepo

Wow. That was a ride! Such a twisted tale...excellent episode! booger-mortis lol

Joe P

Love UFO videos! I've redone your thumbnail a little bit: https://i.imgur.com/gwACqh2.png hope you don't mind :)

Pavel

Thanks you made Milk come out my nose!

Noah Laughton

I’m wondering about the lady who’s car broke down I’d like to hear more about her account.

Noah Laughton

Wow AJ you dialed this one way past 11!! You had me gripped from start to finish. Great storytelling and fluid recap. I was really hopping there wasn’t a “but” coming up but hey it wouldn’t be the Why Files without it!

Noah Laughton

Dude!! A dreamy alien childhood love pack with a hint of psychopath. Brilliant!

Mischa Aponte

Keep ‘em coming AJ. How about Phil Sneider?

Mark william lane

I almost kinda like watching when it comes out with everyone else. Ah, what the hell. I'm watching it.

Cory DeGarmo

The huge 90% build up followed by the 5 minute enormous let down. But the truth is the truth, and this was a great episode!! Keep it coming!

Nicholas A Preator

So now AJ is assigning homework? Oy vey! Great episode.

Rvator

Damn you AJ! You get my hopes up and then the "but" comes. Gets me every time. which crushes my hopes lol. I would love for stories like this to be real, but this lady is a lying psychopath and it's crazy that anyone still believes her or has her speak at conventions. She puts such a bad stigma around believers and those of us who want to believe.

Chase Schleich

I *highly* recommend reading (or skimming) Hopkins book (linked on YT). I left out so much.

The Why Files

I've heard the first part of the story, but man it gets REALLY weird when Richard and Dan abduct her. What a trip

Jim Hoffman

Brilliant! Please please can you do an episode on the moth man in the USA and spring healed jack in the uk? Begging!
