Sacred Object or Ancient Weapon? Where is the Ark of the Covenant and what technology did it use?

Even though UFOs are seen everywhere: over the desert, over the ocean, over cities; there's no way to predict when and where they'll show up.

Well, no way except for one: build or detonate a nuclear weapon.

Since the dawn of the atomic age, UFOs have been seen -- and photographed -- during nuclear weapons tests and near nuclear weapons facilities.

The Ark of the Covenant is one of the most mysterious artifacts in human history. The Ark, a sacred chest made of wood and covered in gold, has been missing since 587 BC. Its last known location was Jerusalem, somewhere under the Temple Mount.

What does this have to do with UFOs?

In 2011, a UFO was hovering over the Dome of the Rock on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. It emitted a flash of light, then shot straight up and disappeared into the night sky.

This could be just a coincidence. But it could be that the craft was looking for the Ark.

The Ark of the Covenant is an object of extreme religious importance to over 2 billion people. But why would a UFO be looking for it? Because it's the most dangerous weapon of mass destruction ever created.

Sacred Object or Ancient Weapon? Where is the Ark of the Covenant and what technology did it use?

Idea for a video topic. I remember watching a history channel special mostly focused on what they called "lesser arks" of the covenant. The guy was in Africa trying to track the lost jewish tribes who claimed to have them and still practice full ancient style with sacrifices and the works. But when he went to meet his contact a drunk angry local showed up instead saying white people have no business asking about such things and ran him out of town. I'm still stuck on having never heard of "lesser arks" before or since and the lost tribes actually being in plain sight and not so much lost as forgotten. If you can dig up anything on the concept of lesser arks and if they're in any way connected to the lost tribes that'd make for a fun story

Did anyone else listen the entire Hecklefish Star Wars Theme song cover?

I can almost hear the excited nuns now: "Yes, spank ME! First the spankings, then the oral sex!"

Devin MacAndrew

Yes, yes ... I can almost hear the excited nuns now:

I just love that at the mention of the holy grail we get a .5 second shot of John Cleese saying โ€œI fart in your general direction!โ€

David โ€œKiwiโ€ Keller

Really amazing show, covering all the bases. It's nice to see such non-judgmental, intelligent reporting.

It seems to me that the "Lord" of the Old Testament ISN'T the God/Allah of modern Christianity and Islam, and perhaps modern Judaism - the Old Testament Lord seems vindictive and arbitrary, more like a flesh and blood ruler than a divine figure

Maff Bowers

The guy doing the Bible passage readings is epic - he definitely should do audiobooks! Really great dramatic voice

Excellent subject matter. I've been interested in the ark and the idea of supernatural/ powerful religious relics ever since watching Raider's of the Lost Ark in the 80's. I'll wait to watch this when I can find an hour to myself... I need absolute silence to watch the WF's ๐Ÿ˜‚ Thanks in advance team, I know this ones gonna rock ๐Ÿ‘

SGW4K

Excellent show, cheers! I love how you guys consider everything but don't just take it at face value. Refreshing indeed! It could just be the Ark of the Covenant is nothing more than a great story, yet I absolutely love it. ... This is not at all intended as misdirection, but here's some maths: 39[6035] โ€“ 8[4215]

Google for: "Japanese Mikoshi" It's usually a gold-covered box, carried around during religious processions. Eerily similar to the Ark in a lot of ways. Although, there's a good deal more than one of them in Japan.

William Matthews

Excellent episode. I have herd most of those stories but I love the way you tell it.

I've not watched it yet. But I went down an Ark Rabbit hole for almost a year several years back and I'm convinced it's in Ethiopia and people jus6 assume that's to easy and think it's false. It will be interesting to see what AJ says in his amazing research

Kevin Via

Laura May

Absolutely fascinating...so many questions that will probably never be answered...ancient history is such a mystery... Hey, I just rhymed...maybe Hecklefish could make a song outta that! ๐Ÿ˜‰๐ŸŽถ๐Ÿ˜Š

Mellie

I suspect the Ark is still out there somewhere, simply because there would be some mention of it being destroyed, even if a rumor. Question is, what shape would it be in? The wood portions would have disintegrated. Then again, if it possessed the power rumored...

MikeD

What an awesome channel!

John Seychel

The Ark is displeased.

MikeD

May the Fourth be with you! 2 million subs and counting. Thank you, Why Files crew, for all the great content! Now, back to Hecklefish.
