Life After Death: A Warning From The Other Side

You wake up. Sleepiness fades as your eyes slowly open to a bright white light. And it feels warm and familiar; it feels like home. And your whole family is there to meet you.

Your entire life flashes before your eyes, like scenes from a movie. The good. The bad. Even the awful things you've done. But everything comes together. It all finally makes sense.

With this enormous weight off your shoulders, the memory of your life starts to fade, just like a dream.

A familiar voice says: "We're happy you're here. We missed you. But - you can't stay." What? You just got here. You're getting kicked out already?

The voice says, "They need you. But we'll see you again when the time is right." And you know, somehow, the voice is telling the truth.

Suddenly, a burst of red-hot pain rips through your chest. It feels like every single cell in your body is on fire. You can't breathe.

A scream forces your eyes open. It's a blood-curdling scream, like an animal being eaten alive. Then you realize: the scream is coming from you.

You're in a hospital bed surrounded by doctors and nurses. They all take a step back. Stunned. They're staring at you. But why?

Well - you just came back from the dead.

Comments

Aj I’ve always wanted to wait till the time was right to watch this episode. Life after death really is the next beyond. Thank you for sharing your fathers story. May he rest in peace and you two regroup in the next life.

John Cadena

Yet Another Masterpiece. Best Podcast/YouTube channel EVER!! I have become a patrion, because You,and Hecklefish, are AMAZING!!! MUCH LOVE !

Deborah Hockett

Great episode! Thank you!

David Parisi

Harp! please go deeper on this topic it's à good subjec.

Luc Grenier

Yep, this is why I watch WF too; never pushes us 2 think in one direction, just presents the facts and lets us form our own opinions and interpretations. I also appreciate the debunking of stuff that needs to be debunked, so that I can move on to the next compelling conspiracy theory that might actually be true! 😄

Linda Webb

This was one of the most interesting episodes ever! I'm especially fascinated with NDEs and OBEs. Very much appreciate all the hard work and research you all put into this, as always! 😉😄🤗😎🐠🐟🐪🐫🛸

Linda Webb

First let me thank you for your kind words. That makes me feel better knowing I can share a story like this here and be heard properly. About the ten percent thing I’m so over that. I see my father every week give 10%? Of his income before taxes and mind you he’s not struggling in life but his two sons are and we can’t even ask him for help because he starts off saying about this same nonsense. Oddly enough my brother also gives 10% and he’s in such a bad financial situation at this time that it has completely changed my views on tithes. Back when the scripture was written about giving god 10% of our first fruits I do believe they did not have money as we do. It was probably more based on trades. So how could god had been making anyone feel like they need to pay money when they had none. I think now that it is more we should give god the first bit of whatever it is we do in life. Example I used to go to my job site on a Sunday alone and work and never told my boss cuz I was doing it as a way to show my thanks that I’m able to work physically and mentally. And thanks that even in that time I had a job because work is really hard to come by. Ahh thsts mainstream religions are so ass backwards it’s not even funny. …. I hope your water has since been turned back on and the issue has been rectified. With no help from that pastors wallet I’m assuming. They sure can collect our monies but try to get five bucks for a bag of milk and they say “let me take you to the store for the milk” why ? You don’t trust me ?? Or do you want your .25 cents back that badly

Mike Banga

I could only imagine!!!!!

Michael Gorby

I'm sorry that happened to you at such a young age. I was 24 when my mom died and I thought that was young. I totally believe that your mom came to see you and told you everything was ok. I also think you'll see her again one day. I'm with you and churches. I talk to God on my own terms - that seems to work best for me. I remember a pastor talking me into giving him ten percent of my pay so God would be pleased with me. All that happened was my water ended up getting turned off.

Beth

So here's my take.....the first law of thermodynamics is that energy cannot be created nor destroyed. We are energetic beings - that can be easily scientifically proven. So when our bodies are done holding that energy - it HAS to go somewhere. It's a law of the Universe just as much as gravity is. Which brings us to the age-old question of where do we go? The older I get, the less afraid I am of finding out.

Beth

I'm so sorry, Brandy. It sure seems to hit all at once sometimes. Holding you in my heart.

Beth

you're so not crazy - weird stuff happens all the time. I was a hospice nurse for 13 years and witnessed some bizaare, really cool stuff.

Beth

I really liked this episode but I have to say, even if scientists did prove we lost an extra 21 grams at death (or whatever the amount was) that still wouldn’t prove the existence of a soul. It would just prove that there was *something* unaccounted for. And the belief in a soul or in hell hasn’t done anything to curb the slaughter or mistreatment of our fellow humans

Jeremy Morphis

This was a great episode ❤️

Shantell Burton

It irritates me deeply that science won’t pursue this line of inquiry. I don’t need them to. Not personally. But many people need the proof to have faith. This is a great episode.

Shelby Haag

Would you know if you cheated death?

Octavia

This episode made me think of when I was 13 and we lost my mom to breast cancer. My whole life growing up she was very into believing in god and an afterlife and this story is a bit crazy but I know it happened. I also find it funny that religious people who are apparently believers in an afterlife when you tell them you experienced a vision or something the knock it down to oh a dream or your imagination? Anyway my mother I guess she knew she was sick but refused to tell me and I didn’t know until her last year alive. She spent every moment she could with me and then Dec 23 1999 she went to hospital few weeks after she passed. The maybe half hour before she passed my sister in law decided to start an argument with me about my friend who was with me for support at the hospital and saying they didn’t need to be there b it it was my mom who requested so then I said that to her and she says your moms so far gone she doesn’t even know what she wants right now I freaked out and yelled and ran outta the room I was 13 30 mins later a family friend finds me and tells me your mom has just passed away but Michael she was so worried about you and just wants you to live a great life and she will always be with us. Well three days after we laid her to rest and I’m angry with god why you take my mom for? I needed her I would say. But yea three days after we put her into the ground I’m in a deep sleep and something wakes me I’m clearly seeing that im in my room all is as it should be and then I hear her and see her in the corner and I remember frantically scrambling to get across my bed and floor to reach her for a hug and I was desperate to say good bye. Her exact words to me where so simple but so much the truth I feel and exactly what tv the bible teaches is the way to make it to heaven . She said it’s all true Michael don’t stop believing. And recently I have found that as long as people believe in god and never sent him or stop believing in him then we can have a good chance to make it to heaven. It’s so very simple. It’s was whack cuz she was in the clothes we buried her in but now she was glowing blue and white like the force ghosts in Star Wars. Which I now believe is what rhenbible describes as the glorified bodies we are sup to get. The bible I find is very true but I am not one for what religion has turned it into. They are all out to take money away from hard working people who are just after a happy idea about after life hoping that it’s not just black. These churches capitalize on it and that’s so gross. Anyway can believe me if you like or if chose not to it’s your call. I know what I seen I know what was said to me and I know I cried for three days afterwards and could not help myself it just came and wouldn’t stop for theee days

Mike Banga

This is why I watch the Why Files. Weird, compelling, but never telling me what to think is exactly what makes this service so reliable. I have no faith or even a vague belief in any particular process beyond what I can see. feel, smell see. However, I had something happen to my that rocked my world to it's core. Explaining what happened is not something I can do effectively. I do wish I could find someone who had the same experience but so far none of my searches have yielded any similar experiences. It doesn't matter, I have nothing to sell, but I do like searching. In the meantime, this channel and others engage my imagination regarding what's considered strange. Even before my experience this kind of content was appealing.

Rick Tucker

Wow... great episode... I missed it because my membership inadvertently canceled when my credit card was canceled (got hacked). Realized it and now back in. Just saw this episode and loved it!!

Skinny Piglet

Thank you!! So much!

Michael Gorby

I love the idea of Anubis and his scales. It doesn’t matter what you believe, it’s your actions that count. Whether you had a good heart. That’s how I would want my life to be weighed. Personally I don’t believe anyone’s story about seeing hell in an NDE. It’s always a story about how an a former atheist who sees a hellscape and is frightened to the flock. If you told me Joel Olsteen saw hell, and he actually changed his ways, then I’d believe it.

Corey Dennis

You are not crazy, you are right where you are suppose to be.

Bosco Lemonzit

Amazing episode, and thank you for sharing your personal experiences. It's so hard losing those we love. Next month will be 6 years since my husband passed away. Since then my best friend/soul sister passed away and another close friend. So this episode hit close for me. Love everything you and your crew do, looking forward to the next episode. ❤️

Brandy

So. I don’t mean to sound like the odd one out here and maybe I’m just crazy. But I’ve see. This is absolutely crazy to me. Are you guys serious right now? I’m really feeling like I’m going crazy right now. Someone for the love of god say I’m not crazy. Two weeks ago I was laying in bed and watching this episode. My wife called me during the episode to tell me my daughter wanted to talk to me. I paused the show, I spoke with my infant daughter and the words I spoke to my wife were “could you imagine waking up in the middle of surgery, watch yourself die, and just take off wondering you d your newfound home?” She said “shut up I love you, goodbye” I hung up the phone I finished the episode and I went back to sleep. She remembers the convo as well….. trippy dude, straight trippy… no offense I also remember thinking to myself that AJ looked like he lost a little weight or looked at least a little off during the episode… (cold maybe?) anyways. Lemme know, thanks…. I’ll be honest I was like dang, I didn’t know they repeated episodes. And I shut it off a 1/3 of the way through…. I ALREADY WATCHED IT!!!! This is freaking nutz man…. PLEASE also understand I’m aware of exactly how crazy this sounds so for the love of god save the rude comments… I also know I have no way to prove this to you with the exception of my “skeptic” wife to say the least and even she refuses to deny what she vividly remembers it herself…

Michael Gorby

My favorite episode yet!!!! I was holding my sisters hand when she died, I can’t tell you what I felt exactly, I don’t quite know myself, but it was a beautiful experience that I wouldn’t trade for all of the money in the world.

Rob Weicht

Hey Katy, for your own good do not go get some Old Smokey Butter Pecan flavor moonshine. I really have to restrain myself from gulping it down. Have a good weekend and wishing you health and happiness 😊.

DannyO

Wow. Your description is nearly exactly what I experienced. It's time to watch! ...it's always time to watch! 😁

TheArchess

Really makes us happy - no one is being attacked, we are discussing as open minded people that accept, we may not have all the answers! So lets share our thoughts!! Glad to have you around, Ed!

The Why Files

Amazing episode. I was honestly afraid to listen to it because I wasn’t sure if I wanted to hear what you were going to say. I knew this episode was going to be different, especially in light of my dad’s passing- and it was. I usually listen to your show for brain-teasing entertainment, but this one was personal. Thank you!

AnnaYaelD

Loved the episode, AJ!! Please look into Chris Bledsoe and his encounter with “The Lady”. She’s a divine being that dates back to ancient Egypt. CIA and others are in contact with him since his encounter. 👽👽👽

Michael Guttowsky

Another brilliantly researched episode!

Star Man

Great episode! Here are some of my thoughts: They would never allow proof of an afterlife to become public knowledge. They would reveal UFOs, perpetual energy machines and lizard people on the same day before they let the Afterlife out of the bag. And for good reason, the results would be disastrous. People would check out left and right. The whole brain activity 9 minutes after death sounds suspiciously like a final shutdown routine. Establish a network connection, copy a few files off the hard drive to somewhere, run a few final maintenance tasks… My big question would be, why is it waiting? It’s like it is waiting to see if it really is time to run the final tasks. If it were cells simply decaying, surely you see a gradual increase in activity and not a snap in activity? Also, all that brain activity requires energy, which it seems to have purposefully retained for this final task…

William Matthews

I'm leaning towards the Journey of Souls angle. That could support Simulation Theory, the Multiverse Theory as well as the Mandella Effect. Almost like waiting in line to ride a theme park ride. What does that say for the afterlife? Is a lifetime condensed into a 5 minute "ride"? Since that angle wasn't covered here, would that mean there may be an episode possibility in the future? As I got the book based on AJ's previous mention, he's obviously aware. Inquiring minds wanna know 🤔😁 Thanks for the thought provoking episode!

Vince In Houston

An absolute cracker of an episode - thoughtful, creative, and heartfelt. Thank you so much for sharing some of your life AJ, and for such a fascinating look into the topic. This one definitely sits in my Top 5 favourites from the Why Files! :)

Drew Lane

Lol, just got to the DMT reference part. /shakes-fist. In my curiosity and growing want for a spiritual journey this made me eventually hear of DMT and I was curious about trying it. :(

Lachesis Ember

This was by far one the most emotional episodes of the why files, we thoroughly enjoyed it and appreciate the strength it must take to share with us your personal experiences AJ. Thank you for all that you and the crew do.

Fred and Shazza Alterator

Another great episode, AJ. Might I suggest an episode on Robert Monroe, a pioneer in Out of Body Experiences (OBEs) His well documented journeys to spiritual realms is very interesting. And, as you may know, he left a legacy organization for research, the Monroe Institute, in Virginia.

james lennox

I had no idea you have panic attacks. Is it strange knowing that someone you see as successful, personable and “normal”brings comfort to me as I also have panic attacks?

No Way Jose

Yep! So glad you did this episode and thanks for sharing your personal family history as well. I teared up when you wrote at the bottom of the screen "I Miss You Dad".

Lulu A.

I'm so excited and glad I finally joined the patreon I can't believe the value of the content for such a small price I love what you and hecklefish do and enjoy many hours a day of all of your stories you keep me extremely entertained and I can't explain how much I appreciate what you do thank you so much and it's so good to be here

Clayton Durham

Wonderful episode as usual. Interesting topic and nicely presented. Thanks !!

Jamie Johnson

Thanks for covering this topic. I have always been fascinated by the NDE stories. I've read a few books on the topic and never realized there is at least one official organization that researches this topic where one can share their experience. I recently found a YT channel that allows people who have experienced this to tell their tales. I have noted the patterns in the various stories I've heard and read. In my opinion, it does not matter what faith you have, atheist or religious. I also feel like whatever is "beyond the veil" is not of any specific faith. It almost seems like how you experience death is presented to you in a way you can slowly understand the state you now find yourself in... I feel there is no right religious belief. The consistent experience is one of feeling intense love, acceptance, and peace. I mostly hear mostly positive (not hell-like experiences), but there have been some that pretty much experienced a "hell-like" experience. Many are told it's not their time, others are told they have the option to return. Often the message is "you still have work to do". Many are shown the life events they have yet to experience. It's all very intriguing and the common theme seems to be we are all connected.

Lachesis Ember

having had an out-of-body experience as a pre-teen I can say that it is possible to see things in real-time without being seen by others. I know it sounds weird but I was able to see people, hear radio music, and smell cigarette smoke as I watched someone close to me sitting in a car, waiting for me while smoking a cigarette and listening to music on the car radio. My friends had watched me stop walking as I trailed behind them. They would swear that they never lost sight of me while I was experiencing this in another location. When I returned to my body I explained what had just happened. They didn't believe me until they walked around the corner and saw the parked car with my dad waiting for me.

TURO

This was a wonderful episode, so for my New Year's resolution I will continue my Patreon membership and never miss a 2024 episode. Thank You.

Debra Nowak

Wonderful year-end episode — cheers and best wishes to you all!

thormusique

I really appreciate you. Thank you for making my day a little better.

Chris Henderson

Found the podcast! Yessss 😆 4.9 rating way to go why files! Thanks for all you guys do! Still spreading the word across the mid west😁happy new year!

Nette W

The brain hallucinating theory does not explain why the NDEers were able to see themselves, the scene of the rescue, other people/rooms in the hospital, so on and so forth. Your brain alone cannot dream up situations that are real and depending your sensory system to see, hear and feel. So, I do believe it is something we aren't able to explain at least for now. It is these things that make life feel much larger and much more meaningful than what it seems day-to-day. At the same time, I find it strange that we human race has ventured into the space yet we don't fully understand things just around us and about ourselves. it almost feels like two parallel universes of things that don't cross. Ah, life is a mystery. LOL.

Steven Shi

I am voting for no afterlife. It will be the same as before being born. nonexistence.

Jonathan Leiendecker

Love the range of things you covered on this topic. Also, the sound is also appreciated 👌 great job, all of you!

Fizzgig

There going to be a hangout on Discord tonight?

Chase Schleich

Now I really want a Hecklefish Nirvana, Smells Like Teen Spirit video lol

Chase Schleich

The first electrocardiogram, a leap forward in the scientific ability to analyze the heart and its patterns, was developed in the 1920s by Dutch physiologist Willem Einhoven (1860–1927)

Ben Dover-Nimmo

For many years i have believed the truth to be somewhere between buddhism and the conservation of energy in science, i see them as one in the same, i see the soul as the energy source that powers the body... a battery always has some charge left when the device powers off through lack of charge...

Ben Dover-Nimmo

If "god" was real, he certainly is a sick creature. To confine beings under it's control to a sad and brutal reality and then expect them to know the truth of it without leaving proof is a disgusting idea. Besides, Agrippa said that we are god within ourselves.

Eric

Looooooved it! Going to watch again live and again and again I'm sure

Daniel James

Thought provoking, personal, touching and hopeful. Bravo! Well done to all involved!

Sonny A

Gotta love Hecklefish!

Jerry P566

I believe you may have missed one AJ... The story of Mr. George Ritchie awakening to the sound of a heart monitor beeping in 1943 is very suspect. That sound that we all know is rendered by a device named a Sonalert, invented by a Mr Bronson Potter along with Mr PR Mallory, in the early 1960's. To the best of my recollections, the 1940's version of a hart monitor, was a bedside nurse, and I've never known of, or read that any nurse had the capacity to "beep" some 50 to 70 times per minute... For hours. ; )

Mustafa's Fleas

I electrocuted on 12/2/23. They had to hit me 3 times with the defibrillator to bring me back. I don't remember any of it so I don't have a cool NDE story. I'm glad to be alive. This video hits close to home and makes me think about what happened and how lucky I am.

Safe and effective!

Damnit! Made me 😢. Lol great episode!

Theo Lee

This episode was AWESOME! My kids and I listened while driving to the vet. We appreciate all of the hard work you guys put into these!

Sibyle

A very good episode, and may I add, you don't have to be "religious" to be a spiritual person.

Kazren

Thank You for keeping Hope alive :-)

Rick Flynn

Fantastic as always! We appreciate everyone at TWF's💜

Vicki

Hecklefish hoodie, hecklefish slippers, watching hecklefish. Life is good. 😁

Shelley Egerer

I’m so sorry and you are champion sir. I would think our tickets got at least punch from the journey. If you ever need to speak to a kindred soul, I’m here.

Katy

A few minutes into this episode : AJs dedication to his dad made me think about my grandmum and my Nonno: I miss talking to you! Lots of love to everyone who's missing someone and the whole why files family.

Nic

Remembering is a choice that is made either prior or during the experience.

Denver Haslam

Thomas G Richey

I'm so happy you finally did this one, I've been requesting for this topic since April 2022. Thank you

Rawhide & MissKitty

I gave up my career and took my dad thru Alzheimer’s till the end, that was ten years ago and I’ve still not recovered . Guess that makes us soul mates or something

Bosco Lemonzit

Pretty cool and well done!!!🤘🤘🤘

Killik

This is definitely one of my favorites. Great job WF team. I appreciate your hard work and dedication to your fans.

Younger Dreyfuss

Before I tell you what a great job you did with this subject matter...uh, I think I just did - doh! Anyway, I am aghast that there was no 'Flatliners' reference! That's the sort of experimentation that is needed to put this subject to rest. This episode was both intellectually, and spiritually uplifting. Thank you for all you do. Peace!

Pete Mitchell

Terrific episode! Thank you so much TWF team

Renata

Great job guys! Love, love, this episode. NDE’s are so fascinating to me so feel free to do as many follow ups as you wish on this topic. Just an fyi, I got sick on Christmas Day and have spent the last couple of days re watching all the episodes AND then… I discovered your Backstage channel! How did I miss that?! So I watched all those episodes! Thanks for the fantastic Christmas Day watch along, watched that too! (Didn’t get to watch live). Love this channel and all of you guys. Don’t forget to post a picture of Jens finished blanket! ❤️

Valerie Brooks

Awesome episode. Great job to you and Heckle Fish!

bazaab42

I had a major accident about 16 years ago which saw me Recessitated 3 times. No lights, no tunnels, no floating body, i just woke up 6 days later. I wonder why only some people have NDEs. Still waiting on the Annunaki episode.

Justin Ferguson

QUALITY... sums it up best

Paul Chachulski

Yes! Couldnwe get to share in the unlimited power over time and space? Muhahaha

Katy

Agreed, the energy cannot just disappear. Energy has to go to another location. The idea of ‘The absolute’ (I believe discussed in an earlier episode) seems like a good general outline at the least. Great commentary!

Katy

You know I see your attitude and smile. It’s said of the Irishman that he can tell you to go to hell and make you look forward to the trip. Lol

Mark william lane

You got here the extra fun way! That moonshine sounds really really good.

Katy

Second that!!

Katy

Fascinating, thank you for the dose of hopefulness. Scientific evidence would do a lot to console minds everywhere. Until then, I would hope that trying to always be a good person is the real measure of anyone. Lost my last ‘adult’ last year. Mom went in Dec 24th and passed January 4th. I hope her journey was peaceful after we lived together through her dementia for 5 hard years. She deserves pease, as do we all. Now…. Time to smile and sing a long with the theme song!!

Katy

The govt doesn't want to know if there's a soul because most of the politicians would quit if we did. I personally wouldn't change a thing I'm doing though there are past regrets of things I would have done different today if I could go back. I'm not a believer but I've read a lot of the Bible. Hell are your regrets on steroids.

Mustangman

Loved this episode! I have heard many NDE stories and find them fascinating and soothing 🥰🥰🥰 Thanks🤩👍

Ilene

N.. no... 😳😭

Trodden An3urysm

anyone else cry watching this?

Bosco Lemonzit

Fantastic Episode, I am big on believing and AJ, do not worry, there is something wanting for all of us. Just for the folks to know their is a site called "Heaven Awaits" hosted by Leigh who has a story 2-3 times a week on NDE for everyone to hear. He recounts them to the audience and lets them decide the truth or not. Its a site well worth the watch. I cannot believe no one has reproduced the experiment from the early 1900's. My thought is that the are afraid plain and simple to find the answer!

John Edgeworth

Oh well, I am going to Hell.

Melissa Taylor

No one is ever "good" enough to go to Heaven. Only one person has ever walked on this earth that was that perfect, Jesus Christ. The only way to go to Heaven is to acknowledge this and ask him to accept you as a child of his. Believe that he surrendered his life in exchange for yours because he loves you so much and wants to spend eternity with you in Heaven. If you do not believe that Christ died so you could go to Heaven then you will go to hell. None of a person's works can ever earn him a place in Heaven. Believing in Jesus sacrifice and accepting this gift on your behalf is the only path to Heaven.

Anita Sue Clark

Brilliant episode! I truly appreciate how you effectively navigate these large questions of our being with grace and open-mindedness. I don't always agree with your conclusions, but I almost always agree with your methods and affirmation of curiosity. Thank you from a die-hard socialist.

geekpower

Awesome!

Gus Viera

Definitely one of my favorite episodes to date, possibly ever. Glad you finally finally tackled it! I think there’s a really good reason why scientists don’t try and prove or disprove the soul… deep down….We all all know why!! Thank you Why Files!!🙏🩷

K Thompson

Awesome ep! I've always wondered if the 21g had to do with bowel release or gas(not perspiration). I hope not. That would be...shitty.

Rob Erman

Yet another amazing episode!!

Jon Mickels

Thanks for the episode! There's another way to simulate dying. You can have someone breathe a mix of 21% oxygen and the rest CO2. This tricks your brain into thinking it's dying.

Andy Shriver

Great episode! And omg, your Dad's story, thanks for sharing that with us, AJ. 🙏 Love you guys! Happy Holidays WF Team🎄

B. Roxy Rogers

Why can't I take my truck??? Time to negotiate...

elMexineck

Awesome episode. Really makes you think what's next and why?

Don Stewart

Great job, I loved the bit about the brain activity.

Sindy Simms

Seriously, I thought we were about to start a singalong when Hecklefish broke out with 'Come sail away'. I had already joined in, only to be cut off by AJ. Man... :)

Tim Murphy

Appreciate y'all!!🥰

RicanHavoc

Excellent Episode!

Robyn Maimone

The best episode ever. Great choice, right before New year so we can make some good resolutions and earn ourselves heaven. As for you AJ (and team), your hearts are light. Well, umm, I'm not so sure about HF, but I'm sure he'll slip in anyway, like astronauts through Van Allen belts.

Led Nicky

Art Bell once had someone tell him, "When you die, don't go to the light. It's a trick."

Jason Spencer

Riveting episode. Thank you AJ for sharing your father's experience, it had me in tears.

Autumn Spredemann

Again and again your shows are always fantastic

Ken McLaughlin

So I was confused, why is my phone getting this notification from the why files?? Then it hit me. A few days ago I imbibed on some so sweet Butter Pecan moonshine. In my drunken state I became a patron! Thank the great creator, God, for letting man invent Butter Pecan Moonshine because now I do not have to wait to get my Thursday dose of the why files! Keep up the great work, AJ and crew and much love, peace and health and happiness to my WhyFiles brothers and sister's.

DannyO

I just want to say I appreciate getting a modicum of representation in a space where diversity is extremely rare. Great vid as per usual. I’m particularly interested in this topic, so I may be biased. But I do posit that consciousness does live on. It’s pure energy, and it can’t be destroyed. So does it just… disappear? I don’t think so… I remember this experiment being mentioned in The Lost Symbol, it blew me away.

Justin From Richmond

Absolutely outstanding. This rivals the AI one from a couple of months ago, which was also top-tier, although this one's content is positive rather than terrifying...

Maff Bowers

Great episode! Thank you for being a twinkle of love, light & laughter in these increasingly dark and chaotic times 🫶🏼🙏🏼✌🏼 - Brooklyn Pidi & MGP

A.J., this is Truly one of Your Best. Really Touched Me with the Story about your Dad. I think you are an Amazing Person!!

Imagine a NDE & meeting Q

Andrew Ellis

Wow. Amazing episode. AJ, when I saw your message, it had me in tears. ❤️🙏

Joe P

Excellent, absolutely excellent!

Wade Heidmann

I have died and years later fell out of my body, and OBE as they call it,

Rob Collins

So compelling and thought provoking and extremely well researched and objectively presented. I tend to believe these people describing NDEs. As a Christian I still haven’t figured out how our view of the afterlife comports with these accounts, but I figure I’ll get the answer to that question someday. In the meantime, it’s immensely entertaining and stimulating to consider the possibilities!

John Battiston

This made me rethink a lot of things, I've been on the brink of death a couple of times. I used to think I could speak to the universe each time it happened. Including one time when I was about to overdose on magic mushrooms, the stars formed a face and told me what to do and I'm still alive today.

Peter Power

Great episode loved it one of my favorites

Tash & Andy

Awesome A.J. Thanks

Another outstanding episode!

I am so excited each Wednesday night for the new WF episodes, but not half how excited I am for AJ playing Wade Wilson in the next Wolverine. Wish I had that hair!

Kevin Lichtenberg

Marilyn nunez

Thank you for another amazing entry! I really couldn't appreciate my weekly dose of Hecklefish and some awesome ideas! Hecklefish humming the line "Here we are now, entertain us" was remarkably appropriate.

Brenda Rush

Another amazing episode on the books. Thank you WF team for all that y'all do!

Jay Bravo

AJ's story of his father had me in tears.

Trevor Valentine

Thankfully I've got my killer Panera Bread lemonade and it's massive dose of caffeine to help me through lol. That shot of NDE was bangin though ♥️💚

Doc Hollidxy

I’ve told this story before so I’ll make it short and sweet. When I was five years old I was visited by a spiritual entity who resembled my mother, she told me all about reincarnation and made me promise not to forget her lesson. Do I believe in life after death? You bet I do!

Brad Fregger

Fortunately 7am in New York. Time for the morning coffee ☕️ with a shot of NDE.

Always Great! Thank you and Happy New Year!!

Enjoyed the journey, thanks to the staff, my fellow patreons and all the fans. Looking at questions with which ppl have strong opinions in such an open, engaging, and honest dialog is greatly needed today. Hopefully it will spill out into the lives of all those who partake.
