I think subliminal messages might be effective at getting couch potatoes off of their lazy butts, to go get popcorn that they wanted anyway. It's not going to suddenly make people want to run out and eat chocolate grasshoppers. I've never once in my entire life been urged to go out and buy extra laundry detergent because the TV is saturated with laundry commercials. Quite the contrary, it pisses me off, and I even avoid the more irritating products. I refuse to watch TV now. 12:03 Actually.. if I recall, Post Grape Nuts started a campaign to convince people to eat cereal for breakfast. That's when it became all the rage to do so. That's when I discovered suggestive advertising. Upon researching it, I discovered that the enzymes to digest meat build up in the human body overnight while we are sleeping. So, in reality, humans are build to eat meat for breakfast. I still eat cereal when the mood strikes me, and Grape Nuts hold a soft spot in my heart, but I opt to eat protein based foods for breakfast at the drop of a hat. So.. actually, humans ARE built to eat bacon and eggs for breakfast. How's that for a bizarre twist? 30:27 Alright, I gotta speak up. Saddam Husein was a complete tyrant. The CIA trained his troops to help destabilize the MIddle East, and they were good enough that they were kicking everyone's butts. The PROBLEM was, he thought he was the coolest kid on the block, and he decided that he wanted to take over Iran, even though the CIA told him to back off. Actually, everything from Desert Storm to date was fallout from the CIA sticking their fat noses in where they should have left well enough alone. This is flat provable as well. In that era, magazines and the news actually reported the truth, occasionally. I was a mere High School student during Desert Storm, and I chose an assignment to get to the bottom of the cause of the "war". After consulting our magazine archive, I didn't even have to guess, I compiled the research and every piece of evidence was right there, reported in black and white. The CIA caused the whole mess, exactly like I just said. Of course, on TV they lied through their teeth about it, but the joint resources of the news magazines of the day proved every detail of the events. You will note that they don't make that mistake anymore. At any rate, most of Hussein's troops flat refused to fight the troops of the people who had trained them in the first place. Just to mention, It was post 9/11 that the Iraqi troops just gave up. During the Gulf War and Desert Storm, there were some skirmishes. However, post 9/11, there was almost zero resistance to the US taking over Iraq. That's where all of the photos and videos of Iraqi troops giving up come from. By that time, Hussein has massacred a few villages of his own people and put them in mass graves, and most of his troops were practically starving. They gladly gave up before a shot was fired, simply on the rumor of getting a hot, healthy American meal. 33:02 Ah yes, There are two discreet sects of Islam, Sunni and Shi'ite. Iraq contains both. In fact,, the Sunni and Shi'ite scattered around the Middle East are the reason that we can honestly say that Islam has been at war with itself and others for the entire breadth of its existence, nearly 1,400 years. At any rate, it didn't take much suggestion for the CIA to set one faction against the other, all they had to do was light a match. In fact, the fallout from that rebellion continued until after 9/11, and it's the reason why Hussein wiped out entire villages; men, women, and children; causing his own troops to lose faith in him.
