It's one of a number of facilities shared by the shot-callers at Raytheon, Lockheed Martin, and the rest of "The League of Authoritarian Gentlemen" in de facto control of the defense, intelligence, and legacy energy production businesses. Have you seen and heard the testimony in the link below regarding said installation? The account comes from Mr. Eric Hecker, who worked there for Raytheon as an emergency services contractor, specifically for fire prevention and suppression. He had unfettered access everywhere thereat. He spoke spoke at the National Press Club in 2023 and has done so publicly elsewhere as well, in addition to having his accounts published. Neither Raytheon, nor its subcontractors, nor the US government have sued him for slander, libel or, to my knowledge, anything else. His statement begins two hours and one minute into the video. I know the Admirable Byrd stuff has been mostly debunked but I don't think I've ever seen a full report of what he found in Antarctica. AND we know that Nazis are still very much a thing. Has there been any more information about that trip? I know the official "journal" doesn't reveal as much as hoped but it feels like something was left out.

At the Mountains of Madness is arguably his best story. Definitely saw the parallels to The Thing very early in the episode, it's just not a very quotable movie...Yeah, f*ck you, too! 2025-02-21 15:58:16 +0000 UTCLoved the episode, reminiscent of The Thing (which I first saw in the 90s I think) and recognizing the SF story it was based on, which I read when I was a teenager, sometime in the 70s I think. I remember it being one of the stories that actually kept me awake at night (and believe me, I was a pretty tough cookie back then, much more squeamish these days). Also, a particular episode of The Mandalorian springs to mind. You never disappoint!
