Update - The Big Reveal

We've been building new studios, including a "basement" interview set, green screen area, and voiceover booth (and there's been a little drama - but it's managed). I'm excited to announce several new content formats we're launching:
Stripped episodes (10-20 minutes) where I'll tell stories without Hecklefish, getting directly to the story (and the truth). Quickies (5-8 minutes), which are brief solo stories about cryptids, UFOs, weird technology, ancient mysteries, etc. I'll be doing weekly livestreams covering weird news stories, later condensed into 5-minute episodes. Plus, After Files is returning. And don't worry - full Why Files episodes with Hecklefish will continue, but please be patient while we get everything else running.
We will premiere this first "Stripped" tonight at 6 PM. If we run late, it's MY FAULT. Freckles and I are still grinding in the edit. Regardless, you'll have the episode before YouTube and I'll live stream after (probably from home).
TLDR:
The team and I have been working hard behind the scenes - building sets, hiring new people, and preparing tons of scripts. Thank you SO much for sticking by me and us. Because this community is us.

2025-04-27 07:11:49 +0000 UTCMy son and I watch one of the youtube shows nearly every night. He only knows the show as “Hecklefish”. Your theme song at the end (the version with the words ) has become his cue for bedtime, so when we’re watching older shows that don’t have it, I just queue up the original from straight jacket Yosemite Sam, or whatever his name is I always get it wrong for some reason. I have to tell you, it is the most awesome theme song in the history of theme songs. I wish I knew more about its backstory.
