AIを活用したイラスト制作（制作過程10枚＋おまけ3枚＋高解像度1枚）

こんにちは、有栖川です。いつもはAIを使ったイラストが多いですが、久しぶりに手動でイラストを描きました。今回はAIを活用したイラストメイキングの公開です。

Hello, this is Arisugawa. I usually use AI for most of my illustrations, but it has been a while since I drew an illustration manually. This time, I would like to disclose my illustration making using AI.

こんな感じでイラストを制作しました。ひとつひとつプロセスを解説していきます。

This is how we created the illustrations. I will explain the process one by one.

この絵は、はるか昔（2年前くらい？）私が描いた絵です。まだ人類がテクノロジーの進化の存在に気付いておらず、皆がペンタブレットで絵を描いていた頃の時代でした。

This picture was painted a long time ago (about 2 years ago?) I drew this picture. It was a time when mankind was not yet aware of the existence of technological advancements and everyone was drawing with pen tablets.

どうでもいいので割愛しますね。AI（Novel AI）に昔の絵を何度か読み込ませて、カラーラフを作ります。 上のお兄さんの顔がタイプですが、手描きだったら雄の胸を描きたかったので最終的に下のお兄さんにいきつきました。

I'll spare you the rest because it's not important...I loaded some of my old drawings into AI (Novel AI) and made a color rough sketch. The upper brother's face is my type, but if it were hand-drawn, I wanted to draw the male's chest, so I finally came up with the lower brother.

CLIP STUDIOというソフトを使って、レイヤーを重ねてペンツールでトレースし、少しおかしな箇所は人力で直しながら線画を作成しました。

Using CLIP STUDIO software, I created the line drawing by layering layers, tracing with the pen tool, and manually correcting any slightly incorrect parts.

パーツ別にレイヤー（髪、顔、肌、道着）を分けながら塗りつぶしツールでベース色を塗りました。適当に塗りましたが、スポイトで色を拾ってもいいかもしれません。

I painted the base color with the fill tool while layering by parts (hair, face, skin, and street clothes). I applied the color appropriately, but you may pick up the color with an tool.

参考資料を見ながらおおまかに明暗を分けた色塗りをしていきます。

The coloring is done in roughly light and dark colors while looking at the reference materials.

ぼかしツールで滑らかにしていきます。

Use the blur tool to smooth it out.

私はCLIP STUDIOを普段は使用していないので、psdで保存をして、Photoshopに移動しました。レイヤーを1枚、最上部に作ってブラシツールで厚塗りをしながら整えていきます。（動画やゲームに使用するとなると、レイヤー分けをして描写した方がベターです。）

I don't usually use CLIP STUDIO, so I saved the file as a psd and moved it to Photoshop. I created one layer at the top and used the brush tool to paint thickly while preparing the image. (If you are going to use it for a movie or game, it is better to depict it in separate layers.)

背景はBlenderという3Dソフトを使ってジムのようなものを作りました。今回は3Dを使用していますが、AIを使って背景だけのイラストを作って合成すればより時間短縮になります。

For the background, I used 3D software called Blender to create something like a gym. Although we used 3D this time, it would be more time-saving if you use AI to create an illustration of just the background and composite it.

ちなみにこのジムは作りかけで放置していたものを利用しました。途中で面倒くさくなってしまい、未完成です。ちゃんと完成させたいと思い、はや2週間が経過しました。（Blenderはオープンソースの3Dソフトなので興味がある方は、Youtubeで検索ください。3DもAIがやってくれる時代がやってくる気もしますが...）

By the way, I used this gym that I had left unbuilt. It became troublesome in the middle of the project and is not completed. It has been two weeks since I decided to finish it properly. (Blender is an open source 3D software, so if you are interested, please search it on Youtube.)

背面のレイヤーに入れて、イラストと合成します。人物をフォーカスしたいので、背景はフィルターでぼかします。

Composite the illustration. The background is blurred because we want to focus on the person.

最後はエフェクトを加えて調整したり、色味を調整します。汗だくで体から湯気が出ている雄の絵が好きです。完成です！

The last step is to add effects and adjust the colors. I like the picture of the male sweating and steam coming out of his body. It's done!

AIの補助があるので、模写という表現が近いような気がしますが、自分の頭の中のアウトプットを出力するということは創造性に富んでいると思います。お絵描きは”無心”になれるので楽しいですね。

With the assistance of AI, I think that the term "copying" is more appropriate, but I think that outputting what is in my head is a creative process. Drawing is fun because it allows me to be "mindless".

筋肉の構造や手など私も苦手な部分がたくさんあるので、絵の勉強も再開したいなと思うようになりました。昔は上手な人の絵を見ると、自分の能力や才能と比べて気分が落ち込むことも多かったですが、今はAIくんのサポートもあるので、前向きになりました。（表現力の差とかで落ち込むことも今でもあります。）

There are many areas I also have difficulty with, such as muscle structure and hands, so I have come to think that I would like to resume my painting studies. In the past, when I saw someone's drawing that was good, I often felt depressed when I compared it with my own ability and talent, but now, with AI support, I have become more positive. (I still get depressed at times because of differences in expressive ability and so on.)

冒頭に申し上げましたが、昔はAIで絵を出力する時代が来るなんて夢にも思いませんでしたね。時代の変化は凄い！皆様もAIの力を借りて、好みの殿方を召喚するのはいかがでしょうか？以上、有栖川でした。バイバイ！

As I said at the beginning, back in the day, I never dreamed that the era of outputting pictures with AI would ever come. The times they are a-changin'! How about summoning the gentleman of your choice with the help of AI? Bye bye!
