A painter going to school to get her art degree, she was also a part-time actress who seemed to have little tolerance for small talk or nonsense. That's not to say that she wasn't immediately polite or easy to be around, but she wasn't bubbly, flighty, or peppy for no reason the way some women I work with can be.
