Discarded pizza, wine glasses, partial bits of candy, and half-eaten fruit were strewn about the place, while the white sheet, towels, and ratty t-shirts I had let them use as a drop cloths were caked with honey, grenadine, and spilled fruit juices. The place was a mess, but I tried my best to clean up as much as I could before the ladies returned from the bathroom.
