If any of you wonder why there's a 1s splash of the thumbnail at every 8 second mark, it's because Dropbox doesn't allow you to edit the thumbnail. It just uses a screengrab at the 8s mark of every video. Couldn't export the full video together even without Premiere crashing.

Pentagon is the king, there is no doubt. But seriously, I don't think their approach to the show was the best in the beginning. They had some real confidence issues at the time RtK started (No first win yet, members going to the military soon, Yanan in China since forever, a lot of backlash from when Dawnie left still affecting them). It was pretty clear that they didn't think they were famous enough or recognizable enough, with Hongseok not thinking anyone would know his voice and Kino's "they don't care about my eye, they won't know", and yet they chose to play it braggy with the whole 'do you think you can beat us', situation in the anonymous chat - and it was aggravated by that (amazing) first presentation. I think this first episode caused some issues with other fandoms because of that, even though they started showing their true, very sensitive, crazy creative, kinda underdog-syndromed selves soon after. :/ Anyway, Magnolia is AMAZING. TOO, now TO1, is very talented.

2020-11-26 15:49:29 +0000 UTCOh, will you be releasing a PT 3 for VeriVery and Oneus's performances and the rest of the first ep? I've seen a reactor pause the show and go to YouTube to watch the full performance since the quality is better there then go back to the show and skip to after the performance to see the comments ect. I know that can be a lot of work especially with sites like Kshow where there will be pop ups and stuff if you pause or whatever but just a thought!

2020-11-23 12:54:15 +0000 UTCMy hope is to have an upload each weekend, but whether that's 1/2 an episode or a full one I'm not too sure yet. Working with such large files sometimes causes issues. Tried to export this one as a single file but it kept failing so I had to break then up. Export from Premiere takes just under an hour and upload to Dropbox is 4-5hrs. If only I had that Form of Therapy $ to have a dedicated editor haha

And yes, the maknae of Golden Child, Bomin, was in the 00 liner performance of Psycho with Hyunjin. Also, I was wondering about how often you'd be looking to post these reactions? Just so I have something to look forward to :) I also recommend stopping at the end of the episode before the "next week" part of the episode, because there are definitely some visual spoilers for the next performances in that snippet (personally I'd skip them since there's nothing afterwards anyways and I like to be surprised)! Also, the quality is DEFINITELY terrible in all of these free websites, I don't know of any really good HD ones but there are full versions of the performances on youtube (both with and without the cuts to other groups' reactions), you can check those out after the reaction to the full episode if you want to see the full performance in hd quality (and also some of the performances look much better without the audience cuts so i definitely recommend checking the full versions out on youtube!)

I honestly didn't know any of these groups well, even Pentagon. Reactors got me into watching RtK and I am a huge fan of ALL these groups now (but especially Pentagon stealing a piece of my heart with their story and just their drive and passion)

2020-11-23 02:26:29 +0000 UTCall *i* know about how live the performances are is that Pentagon are the only group that sings live through the whole show (with a backing track). this was especially "special" for the final episode (since this episode was broadcasted live), the rtk pd highly recommended every group to lip sync but Pentagon were against that idea and, again, sang live.

Pentagon are very theatrical, they're amazing performers with great facial expressions, hence why the other groups felt like it was a "musical". I was veeery impressed with Golden Child as well, that was wild! And TOO did such a good job as well... they all did :)
