i just wanna clarify some things about 2ne1. their performance was the best ive ever seen in terms of hyping the crowd up and doing insane stuff on stage all four were great performers as well as amazing singers and rappers. honestly you will never see their true potential unless you watch a live of theirs. mamamoo were big fans of them and have said they use 2ne1s insperation for their performances but i honestly dont think we will see another group that performs like 2ne1 ever again not because they cant but kpop is alot more monitored and they dont have the freedom like they did. the reason the members of 2ne1 get sad about their group is because of the disbandment. they didnt want to disband at all but yg did alot of messed up things to them like calling them ugly and fat and overworking them and then suddenly disbands them and replaces them with blackpink. all four are doing well respectivly since doing all different things like cl is in america dara is acting and minzy and bom are soloist idols in separate companys. so this wasnt really a getting an older idol to resurface type of thing if anything they were probably using her popularity. they still refer to eachother as their members and they still talk to and about eachother alot. on the lighter side the reason they gave her corn and flowers was because bom is known to be "addicted" to corn haha theirs so many viral moments of her talking about corn or food in general from the 2ne1 days its kinda like an inside joke. the last thing i wanted to say is she was always known to not be able to dance she would always joke about it and nobody really cared but id say to keep that in mind. anyway i cant wait to see u get back into this i know this was long i just dont think i saw anyone explaining the 2ne1 stuff haha

Thank you for this half episode as well! Honestly, for me, Oh My Girl was the real dark horse of Queendom. I knew some of their songs, but never really paid attention to the members - but they are variety queens, talented and wholesome girls. Probably you won't accept recommendations from people not in the King tier, but I think you should check out 2NE1's Come Back Home (it's really cool and still sounds fresh), and Oh My Girl's Closer (it's literally magical, I think no one can hate this song). You said that you liked what you heard so far, those snippets. You didn't finish this episode yet, so feels weird to do rankings here at the comment sections, but OMG totally deserves a first place for this performance. I really really really loved it.

Thanks for more Queendom! OMG's Destiny is definitely one of my favorite performances! It blew me away and got me way more interested in the group. It's so nice to see that they can do the grander, more dramatic stuff when they get a chance to leave their signature concept behind. I agree that Fire is the "least good" of (G)I-DLE's songs on here, but I still do really like it. Up until the dance break, it has suuuuch power and crowd hype. After that, it kind of goes too far with the cockiness and questionable stuff. But seeing Soojin collecting fangirls never gets old. :'D Also agree with the Park Bom stuff. I think she personally did the best she could in the situation, but yeah - they're really milking the 2NE1 drama and nostalgia.

And yes, Bom did have a quest performer, it still doesn't sit well with me that no one covered her own song.

This round was a bit of a weird one for me, though there were some awesome ones like Oh My Girl and AoA. I haven't seen anyone else mention this, but it felt weird that (G)I-dle covered a 2ne1 song instead of a song by Park Bom. 2ne1 was not there, Bom was. And as I do agree that it is easier for a group to cover a song sung originally by a group, it is also somewhat difficult to cover a group as a soloist, like Bom did. Don't get me wrong, I-dle is one of my absolute favorites in terms of K-pop, but it felt, like you said, that Park Bom was there only for the commercial value. I would have loved to see a cover of her own song. Again, I'm not blaming anyone, I just feel like the rules should have been strict in every aspect for it to be as fair as possible to everyone. Great reaction!

I agree that Oh My Girl absolutely killed it in this round, their performance was epic! And I also never realised how fantastic their vocals were until I watched Queendom, they sounded incredible here. Aside from the clear issues with the theme of their performance, I do think that (G)I-DLE did a good job too. This is definitely my least favourite Queendom performance of theirs, but it's solid. Miyeon's vocals are the part of this performance that always stands out to me the most, she sounded amazing. Also, I think that scene at the end is a great representation of Mamamoo. AOA having a serious discussion about the scores, and Mamamoo are just singing their hearts out without a care in the world ๐Ÿ˜‚

Second round stages 1.Oh My Girl in my opinion the best stage of the whole competition and here they showed their full talent. 2.AOA most ICONIC stage of the Queendom series. 3.Mamamoo 4 mini concert stages 4.Lovelyz most surprising stage, here they showed if you let them choose the song, costumes and arrangement they can do a lot. 5.Park Bom good effort, but Cheetah was a bit disappointing. 6.(G)I-dle this was a complete misfit. But to be honest any 2NE1 song would be to high of a gamble. Disappointing after their first performance.
