2023-05-05 13:17:03 +0000 UTCi know this is a really old video but rewatching rtk like this feels so nice because you point out a lot of the things that also bugged me when i watched it back then. having rounds that specifically focus on vocals/rap would have been so nice to show different qualities of groups and i think it would have made the whole show more interesting (i am so glad they did that kinda thing with kingdom!) anyway i rlly rlly enjoy this, i'm glad i joined your patreon :)

Btw, Joochan (the one who plays the violin in Golden Child) and Hui were in a musical together last year - Sonata of a Flame. Worth every penny I paid for the online ticket (and it had subs!!)

2021-09-15 17:33:00 +0000 UTCoof, this one hurt to watch. It was heavy watching GNCD go... They've been around for a while, and they're known for their dancing. To not last longer than the rookiest of rookies must have been a huge ego hit. As much as it was exciting for TOO to beat them I feel like this loss is so much harsher for GNCD. Thankfully, I feel like they've only gone up from here! I'm not sure exactly when this aired, but the comebacks they've had since Wannabe have been great, and they got a music show win (their first?) with their latest. So I'm just gonna focus on that, lol As much as polling is frustrating for eliminations, I like that they only vote on the top 3. Because of that it probably works out that it's the voting by the contestants that actually determines who goes home that way. Still not a fan of popularity contests though. I'm just grateful this isn't the kind of competition where people get eliminated from day 1 (talk about some bullshit there). I'm sure it's been a while now but happy belated birthday! (and here you are giving US gifts!)

I've watched this episode at least 6 times and EVERY single time it breaks my heart and makes me cry lol their personalities are just so infectious you can't help but like them. And happy belated birthday! I'm behind on my videos because I had an awful end to February and had to take time to grieve ...a period where you feel like you can't be happy or enjoy things, I hate to say.

Seems fair and fun!! Yup! Pentagon's comeback is planned for march 15th, our birth month keeps getting better and better... it seems like it'll be cutesy though, so honestly not sure if you'd like it, but I'd still love to see your reaction! Someone commented about how Hui is gone to the military now and that they don't know if he'll be participating in the comeback... well, he is! He's in all the concept pictures and he wrote and composed 5/7 songs on the mini album (including the title track). So the live stages will be done without him, obviously, but he will be included in the album! He even has his own solo track as a bonus track (they had this for their oldest Jinho as well on their latest mini album) I'm fine viewing it the way it is! I can see the show just fine :) and I don't get tired of hearing you complain about the online votes because I'm the same... lmao There should NOT have been an elimination, it's ridiculous, especially with the way of voting.... I love Golden Child and they deserve the world. Happy birthday again by the way!!

I think TOO had a show they debuted through if I'm not wrong, so they might have had votes from the audience of that. Whereas Golden Child I don't believe have the biggest following in general. So, yeah still a popularity contest which freaking sucks. Joochan, the violinist is my bias from after watching the show, so fucking sucks to see. I personally feel like you could see this show weighed down on them, particularly the leader, the whole time. But moving on from that... I would totally love to see you check out some Golden Child if you ever have a chance. One of their newer music videos 'Burn It' is so good imo! It's like a mini movie. They boys of the group, Jangjun "Sign Guy" especially, are really funny. Or if you're interested in ONF they recently had a comeback with 'Beautiful Beautiful' also a great video, and they had a prerelease song called 'My Name' which is lowkey like a guide in song form (?) Idk it was a bop though. However, since you want to watch Kingdom I understand if learning about The Boyz is the first priority. They are a really amazing multitalented group. I think you would probably like Kevin's personality. Jinho from Pentagon is one of my biases. He does have a really bright personality and overall is just a cool dude. I'm pretty sure Hui recently enlisted as well. So, I'm wondering how their comeback will go. I'm hoping he will have participated in some way, but I'm not sure. It will be interesting without him as he creates a lot of their music. Excited to see you watch their performances for the collabs. They were just overall very amazing!! Also I am down for the voting for groups for variety content each week! I get the complaining for the show's voting. Hoping Kingdom doesn't have elimination.

Then again, it is TV and everyone wants the drama. The ONEUS member you are thinking of was the pink haired one in No Diggity (Hwanwoong). They actually have dark concepts in almost all of their title songs. No Diggity was just a little different kind of dark compared to the rest. I was thinking if you reacted to the Weekly Idol episodes of the groups you are getting to know, it would be fun . Also few of them are on Knowing Bros and those are also fun. For example BTS was on Knowing Bros, one of the few variety shows they have been on. Great reaction!

Would love to see you react to some of ATEEZ's earlier reality series like Codename is ATEEZ, Wanted, Treasure Film or Long Journey. Their episodes of Weekly Idol are also great, especially the one they were on with ONEUS. Happy birthday!
