Whistle is easily one of the best B sides Dreamcatcher have ever done, itβs been stuck in my head for days now. I havenβt been this in love with a DC B side since Silent Night ππ

Also there is no pictures so yeah, not an optimal solution. So I guess in the end, convenience is the culprit once again π

Reading down the lyrics, as easy as that is, would probably distract me a little too much from the music. That's if they're all color coded too which helps me learn members of groups I don't know as well!

Because let's be honest, not Zaty alone but every lyric channel who uploads the songs to yt steals the content like you said.

2021-08-05 20:01:42 +0000 UTCNo i've listenned to the Scream album and the Boca mini-album, plus the What mini-album (Sorry i'm bad with their albums names XD) and some other songs from differents albums but i didn't deep dive into their era before Scream but i've found some of them on Amazon so i'll discover them once i receive them, i'll will get them all no matter how long it will take :) . Why this question tho?

I love how atmospheric it is in the beginning and how the creepy vibe comes in a little towards the end which transitions beautifully into BEcause. The lyrics to BEcause really make the song creepier. It gives me an unsettling feeling and I love that. Airplane is great! So bright and I love that. I was also remimded a bit of some RV songs π I am in love with Whistle. It came out on a perfect time for me. It was the perfect song for my mood and the weather and I didn't listen to rest of the album until the next day. The lyrics are so beautiful and for me feel like they're sad and yet not at the same time. It's definitely my favorite of the album and might be my no. 2 all time favorite kpop song. Alldaylong is so sweet and everyones voice is gorgeous. It brings out the sweet side of every voice, especially Yoohyeon and Handongs. So pretty. A Heart of a Sunflower is beautiful! I love the rise of the song and the lyrics! I feel like I'm repeating myself with every song but they really are all beautiful and very much summer songs to me. I love this album. Whistle is my favorite and the rest just depends on my mood π

2021-08-05 08:08:48 +0000 UTCMy personal ranking: 1. Whistle: nothing to say it's just a 10/10. At the first listen i put the repeat button on it and listen to it during an hour straight. 2. BEcause: what a fantastic TT, i think in a week or two it will beat Scream and become my favorite Title track of them. 3. Alldaylong / Sunflower: probably Alldaylong a bit higher cuz the replay value is super high unlike Sunflower. I love ballads but they are not made to be spam XD. I think the style in alldaylong should be used more often for them. City pop is amazing and DC can nail that style a lot. Sunflower is just beautiful 4. Airplane is last mostly because of the chorus. I feel (personally) that the LALALA part is off beat so i struggle to truly enjoy the song but the instrumental is perfect, especially the outro. Overall, this album is incredible a good 9/10! I'm glad i pre-order it and i glad you guys made me trun into an Insomnia Thanks <3

On that note, albums like this really need good audio to truly shine, and by that I mean that it has a very refined sound. Probably more so, in my opinion, than most of their albums. I think Whistle is my favorite, but as you say I'll be listening to all of these a lot but in different moods, on different days. I really can't rank them. π I've had a lot of love for BOCA recently but I do agree BEcause is their best title track since Scream. Finally, hats off to Gahyeon! She is truly coming into her own with this one, from the visuals, her fantastic expressions and now some really strong vocals. Some of my favorite lines off this album are hers.

2021-08-05 05:03:41 +0000 UTCMy take is basically the same as yours. I think this is Dreamcatcher's best mini-album yet. I'm going to qualify that as best mini-album specifically, because I don't know that it's going to top The Tree of Language for me. Both Summer Holiday and TToL are absolute masterpieces from beginning to end, TToL just has the unfair advantage of being a full album.
