In addition to that, her father is a seriously famous singer in his own right, Park Namjoong. He is now extremely proud to be "better known these days as Sieun's Dad" haha. He posts little dance covers of STAYC's title tracks to TikTok, which is one of the best uses of that platform I've heard of.

Her dad has German heritage, but was born in Brazil. As a kid he moved to America and became a US citizen. later her dad ended up moving to China and becoming a singer.

Most groups' company can't afford to do something like that, they would have to pay to rent those cameras, a location, etc whereas mnet owns all of that stuff already.

That is part of the reason why a lot of Kpop idols when they get towards the middle to end of their contracts will try to get into acting. So it is interesting that Sieun started out as an Actress, and has become a Kpop idol. But you can tell she really loves music and it is in her blood, her dad was a popular singer in the 80s.
