you should definitely watch the other episodes for your own enjoyment or for content if youre up for it, its easily my favorite youtube series rn. my personal favorite ones are the hyuna, hoshi, and key episodes but theyre all up there. as for drinking age, it's the year you turn 20 (in korean age) so basically the year you turn 19 internationally whether or not your birthday has passed yet.

Just some running thoughts - "Cider" in Korean usually refers to non-alcoholic soda/pop with some kind of citrus flavor. - Makgeolli is traditionally drunk out of a bowl. For my entire adult life I've been hearing about (I'm Korean American with relatives over there) how "kids are starting to like makgeolli these days" since it was a farmers' drink for centuries. Maybe by now it's shedding its hipster image and just seen as another option? Anyway, Yena never having tried it IS still surprising to me, but less so than if she'd never had soju or beer. Makgeolli, as I recall from my drinking days, usually had the ABV% of a strong Belgian beer and its consistency was pretty watery. Not unlike a thin almond milk. It was (is?) fashionable to put some sweet flavor into the drink as well, like the rice-wine equivalent of a lambic. -Chicagoan here who loves the taste of Malort, but I admit it's generally given to people as a prank on the assumption they'll hate it. Only a small minority here drink it for fun, but it's a big hit everywhere in the city, paradoxically. Strange tradition. -Yeah, drinking age in Korea is basically 18. Didn't grow up there, though, but when spending time there I never felt much sense that anything was closely enforced, or needed to be. -Apparently, according to IVE's Yujin and other fellow cast members of the variety show Earth Arcade with Youngji, Youngji is radically different off-camera, to the point of introversion and formality, haha. People who are authentic in opposite directions are so damn interesting Great fun to watch with you!

2022-09-25 18:12:25 +0000 UTCNice, was looking forward to this madness 😂 The drinking games and insanity are the draw, but I like that there are usually moments of sincerity in these episodes too and Yena definitely does seem like she knows what she's doing. Other than this one and Sunmi's, Chaeryeong's is my favorite. She gets really red and you get a bit of sassy Ryeong too, it's great. The Christopher one seems funny for the culture shock aspect, haven't seen it yet though 😂

Chaeyoung came back on this show specifically with Nayeon; and then Chaeryoung from Itzy also had a great episode too~ Also also, please watch the episode with Christopher, such a great time and I had no idea who he was before I watched it!
