I agree as well when it comes to le sserafim. I much more enjoy songs like blue flame, sour grape, impurities, good parts etc I think it suits the girls a lot more and its also way more unique to them. But I think hybe want to push this powerful, mature concept for them which is what theyve done for the title tracks and its just not as good. That's why I think the unforgiven album (especially being a full album) is actually their weakest album and comeback so far. I think their debut album is a fan favorite and it seems so much more like them. Hope they do prettier songs in the future (like feel special, la vie en rose, etc)

I like all three b-sides a ton. The lackadaisical Impurities is so chill yet sassy, and like you I was instantly reminded of Ring ma Bell with No Celestial. I like both and do think those two are the more successful executions of the poprock wave of 2022, but getting something a bit more daring and complex would definitely be nice if this trend continues into 2023.
Good Parts is my favorite though, with Impurities being just behind. It went straight on my chill playlist.
Overall, I think this album does a FAR better job of showcasing their voices as it's less processed than the Fearless tracks, and I really appreciate that. It's also nice to see some member credits on these!

Right on par with their debut album for me, I love this so much. Lost my shit the first time I heard No Celestial haha. I've found myself getting pickier with the kpop rock releases recently too, but that song is just 100% my taste, I really love it. And Good Parts and Impurities are gorgeous, really great comeback overall

Their concept and message of self love and empowerment reminds me a lot of early Itzy (dalla dalla, icy, wannabe) Love it, wish Itzy would have continued with that idea still too

I'm not too sure because I still have Oyster and LENIVERSE to do for them

Yeah it probably is pop country tbh. That's basically the only "radio rock" you'll ever hear these days usually

Thank you so much for the reaction! I've been excitedly waiting for this :) I also recommend watching their comeback show because they do a performance of every song in the album (even the b-sides)! The comeback show also has variety sections that's part of Lesserafim's "company" skit, those are translated on Youtube; though their talking sections in between songs have not been translated as far as I know.

Overall I like Antifragile more than Fearless, I've been listening to the title track a lot more this time around~
I get what you mean about the pop-rock sound, but I guess I'm fine with setting that aspect aside and just jamming out to a simple and powerful song haha.
(I still think No Celestial is more like a pop-country song, especially with the vocal melodies in the chorus, but I might be alone on that).

Yunjin has credits on impurities, good parts, and no celestial. Sakura also has credits on good parts.

This is , without a doubt one of my top albums from this year.
Impurities somehow reminds me of Lucid dreams by aespa, and thats great because I also love that song hahahahaha.
Im not sure if I can pick I favorite on this album, love it.

I just wish put the uncensored version of no celestial on Apple Music. good parts is written by Yunjin and an American artist named Salem Ilese and I’m not 100% sure but I think also chaewon.
