Firstly, Happy Birthday Song! Hope you had a good one and thanks for this request! I'd def say that the early use of the term "girl crush" was loosely used for describing acts that were going against the norm of the time that was very bubble gum and cutesy, both in concept and lyrically & instead going for the nonchalantly cool female empowerment vibe (more conceptually and lyrically rather than the sound itself), which many MMM songs & concepts have done from their onset. Modern "girl crush" has since evolved I feel to be more associated with an overarching package of being badass + having that more tough aesthetic + darker more mature sound/themes layered on top of the original female empowerment/"women you aspire to be like" base descriptor. Also, just want to add as someone fortunate enough to have attended KCON NY 2016 -- vibes were immaculate and it has been fascinating to see the acts that performed then blow up globally since. That outdoor stage was for the convention portion for dance crew performances, cultural showcases, panelists, and some of the actual artists did some mini events/M&Gs there!

The haunted house you reacted to was part of another episode of that. Their scenes of visiting Times Square at night (not in the documentary) are great. Also they were doing Mamamoo TV all along so a lot of things are in there somewhere.
