There's lots of popular trot audition shows on in Korea now and younger trot artists are getting popular. He's the most popular right now. I see trot in the futures of many current idols lol.

2023-06-24 17:58:51 +0000 UTCtook me two sittings but i finally finished this. i think idle and lsf were my faves but everything was just so damn gooood omg. also random fact about the last singer lim young woong you skipped, idk much about him but all i know is that he wins over and outvotes all of the kpop groups (even the big ones) when it comes to korean charts and i find it so funny watching kpop fans freak out because here's this random trot guy coming out of nowhere wrecking their faves on the charts everytime he releases something hahaha . he has such a huge fanbase and they're all prob mostly ahjummas, i love it sm. hahaha i also think this is why he's the one closing out the show.

And it's probably because they're two groups that I've fallen in love with just very recently, but I didn't expect to *adore* STAYC and IVE's stages as much as I did. All four of those stages are nearly on the same level for me, but if I had to pick a favourite it'd probably be IVE's. Also Monsta X are up there too, absolutely killed it 🔥 P.S. You really need to listen to TXT's Opening Sequence. Easily the best song they've released this year. P.P.S. If you want to get to know MONSTA X and IVE more, Starship Game Caterers is a fantastic way to do it 👀

I do agree that older groups are definitely more relaxed on stage, will be interesting to see what these 4th groups are like in a few years. MAMA had a few really great -moments-, but as a whole it definitely didn't hit as hard as this, and was further brought down by typical Mnet camerawork and a poor audio mix, especially during the first day.

They also released 5 other songs this year but they weren't really promoted. They did a song for their webtoon called 'Free Falling', they did a song called 'Valley of Lies' ft. Iann Dior, they put out a Japanese original called 'Ring', they put out a Japanese ver. of 'Good Boy Gone Bad' and Yeonjun and Taehyun also featured on the song 'PS5' by Salem Ilese. They are also going to have a comeback in January and the concept teaser was actually released today if it's something you want to check out😊 Also whenever you have the time I would check out Lana Sunflower's video on TXT's universe. More has happened since the video came out but after I had checked out all TXT's music until that point (the Eternity album) I found her explanation of the Star Seekers Universe very helpful. I know you reacted to 'Frost' which actually is included in the storyline. Link to Lana's video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q4jkD2eLja4 You should also check out the B-sides on Minisode 2. As a MOA (TXT's fandom) I would probably recommend the B-sides more then GBGB. Especially 'Opening Sequence' and the unit songs, Yeonjun and Huening Kai's 'Lonely Boy (The tattoo on my ring finger)' and Soobin, Beomgyu and Taehyun's song 'Thursday's Child Has Far To Go'. You can also check out their Lollapalooza 'Thursday's Child Has Far To Go' if you wanna see a modified 5 member ver.
