2023-01-24 03:18:42 +0000 UTCEunchae does seem to be very perceptive and quick-witted, which lends itself well to these games and a lot of the Leniverse stuff. π I think the popularity of word games and poems comes partly from Korea historically placing great value on poetry and literature, and partly from Korean being a pretty "playful" language. There are a lot of homonyms and near-homonyms that you can play with, or badly screw up with if it's unintentional. π
