just saw this poll 1 month late lmao, if you still plan on doing a survival i d love to see you watch girls planet 999 (kep1er's show), a lot of trainee's debuted in new 4th gen group such as billlie, lapilus, Triple S, ILY:1, ... and a lot will debut later :)) the amount of talent in that show is insane + the performances are iconic and super extra live (so much that you can hear the mistakes) and it's pretty refreshing !!

I think you would absolutely LOVE Girls Re:verse! It's one of the best survival shows I've ever seen! And you definitely won't have the same issues you had with Queendom 2 😆 I would say Girls Planet 999 tho, since you know Kep1er and it would be more of a fun show also, with really no stakes. Aaaaand, you could get to know other girls from there that may or may not have debuted. A good way to get into other girl groups as well 😁😁😁

I 2nd the PeakTime suggestion. I don't usually watch these type of competition shows, but I have been enjoying this one. The stories behind these groups are sometimes inspiring and sometimes sad. They tug at my cynical heartstrings. If you haven't seen it, Running Girls is short (4-5 episodes I think). It's also a "feel-good" reality show. "Sea of Hope" is also a "feel-good" reality show that has Onew, Rose, AKMU's Suhyun, and some well-known Korean actors, too. Someone suggested SuperTV above, and those are fun. Season 2 is a game show format and in each episode they have other idol groups on to challenge them in a variety of games. G-Idle, Oh My Girl, SHINee, KARD, Red Velvet, AOA, Weki Meki and Lovelyz.

if you want something more casual and funny where you can just watch and have a good time, then i suggest girls reverse. if you want the full survival show experience (and more elaborate performances) and also to experience how a group like iz*one/kep1er is made, then i suggest boys planet.

There's lot of groups (first episode survival round opens with 23 teams that is whittled down to a more manageable, but still large, number - Each episode has way more performances than a normal survival show to compensate tho.) Some of the participating teams are ATBO, BAE173, BDC, BXB, DKB, Ghost9, VANNER. A really cool thing is some of the teams are actually ones that have been inactive or even disbanded (BLK, DGNA, MASC as some examples). They're less-known names because the premise is about groups that have been dealt a raw deal whether it be because of COVID or something else.

Gonna throw out "Peak Time" which just started last week. I haven't seen many reactors cover it despite it being about underrated boy groups competing against each other a la Road to Kingdom. Kyuhyun, Jay Park, and Tiffany are three of the judges on the panel.

I wasn’t really in to the idea of Girls Re:verse at first. Like I’m not particularly a fan of the idea of virtual groups. But it really ended up being the funniest survival show I’ve ever seen.
