There's so much happening in kpop all the time and things move so fast, I can imagine that when you've been limited in your interactions for a while it would feel pretty tumultuous trying to get back on track with everything again. At least it might make you feel a bit better knowing you didn't forget what you knew about them, you just never knew to begin with XD

In regards to Dongpyo's popularity, I have a small rant about that XD He participated on Produce X and was a finalist, meaning he got to debut with X1 and was really popular during that time but a lot of that attention doesn't seem to have carried over after his debut with Mirae. If you look up Mirae reactions on youtube there was a lot of people who reacted to their debut and they all say 'the only member I know is Dongpyo' and then they never reacted to the group again. He's still the ~most~ popular member, he has his own show on youtube and stuff but I dunno, it just really seems like people didn't stick around. Even most of the mirae guides on youtube were made in early-mid 2021. As far as your knowledge of the group as a whole, you actually haven't done a guide to them yet so that's probably why you don't know any of their names :P I made one myself since I couldn't find any really up-to-date ones and I was going to request that at some point but it hasn't happened yet.
