2023-08-08 01:18:18 +0000 UTCthe 1080p Premium thing has been going on for like 6+ months, at least if you live in the US. also its the opposite of what you said. their 1080p bitrate has always been terrible, but they didn't make it worse. i've compared files before and after the change. they just increased the bitrate for people with Premium, its about 2.5x - 3x as high as non-Premium.
