💙September 2023 Monthly Boy Group Poll💙

We're back to monthly polls!

Just to start with this new process I'm keeping things a little light. I'll probably only choose the top 3 rated girl groups and top 3 rated boy groups to do videos on. Remember, this will be in addition to the regular stuff I'll already be doing, this isn't only what will be posted. Please recommend variety shows/albums/live stages in the comments for your top voted groups!

In terms of variety shows, maybe one off appearances are best rather than starting a group's personal series. If there was a group not listed here, they probably didn't come to mind or didn't fit for me! I'm trying to figure out what's the best process of doing this each month so if you have advice, please tell me.

Thank you so much for your support!

NOTE: Fourthwall is launching later tonight. You will be able to find the same content over there as on here, but imo it's much neater on Fourthwall. I will be posting content to both Fourthwall and Patreon simultaneously until November most likely, then we will leave Patreon behind.

Svt game caterers are really funny! I definitely recommend those also dingo mafia dance, for shinee I recommend mmtg the first one is ep 181 and is iconic and they recently did another one, also I live alone key and Minho have an episode that is extremely funny and also a cute one with key and taemin if you want to kill two in one amazing Saturday has had a lot of idol guest (like Girls generation, Ive, aespa, gidle, ateez, zb1, Mx, shinee etc) but svt episodes are always a hit ( they appeared recently ep 261) everyone is really funny and taeyeon and key are fixed cast but the episodes are long and I do recommend viewing the rules first so you can understand! and if you do btob Changsub has a show that is hilarious called jeongwaja on YouTube Hope this helps! :)

BTOB suggestions: 2 Days 1 Night is fun and short episodes; Born to BTOB was after Hyunsik and Sungjae returned and leading up to their comeback (Solar guests on an episode) which has them playing a bunch of games; BTOB 4U Impromptu Interview 1&2https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rHeCZ9rS8xs. I also suggest a listening party for Huta's Boom album. There is not a skippable song on the entire thing. It shows off all his skills as a rapper, singer, songwriter, producer, etc. It is one of my favorite kpop albums of all time.

Seventeen: For mid-length series, I'd go for their Game Caterers episodes. Decent amount of content there to react to. Another fun mid-length one would be to check out any of their last two trips of TTT episodes of Going Seventeen. Think Le Sserafim Day Off but for SVT. Karaoke, booze, and games; what more could you want really. For something long form that really gives you their brotherhood, hobbies, personalities, their season 2 of the In the Soop series might be the very best series I've seen of them. This season really cemented it for me that Seventeen was my only boygroup I'd follow till the very end of their career. Lots of tears and laughs. For one offs, I'd go for the episodes of Nothing Prepared w/ Lee Youngji. Hoshi went on by himself right when HOT came out then Joshua and DK went on together recently. Both episodes are insanely entertaining.

ForeverYeung

regardless of who wins I highly recommend the idol human theater & the lee mujin service episodes, they are great shows as for my picks ateez: idol human theater episodes(they have like 3 episodes there), they are so fun svt: their Seventeen X Game Caterers episodes are super fun & funny as hell so chaotic, hoshi no prepare episode is great as well he gets really drunk. shinee: their recording behind videos are great honestly as for albums I highly recommend Onew album (circle), I personally found it great and very well thought album, one of my favorites of this year and since both key & taemin having solo comebacks soon I also recommend (gasoline/killer) album for key & recommend (advice mini album / never gonna dance again act1 album) for taemin

Not sure if it's the type of variety show you're looking for but K-밥 STAR is so wholesome. It's usually 3 parts per group (though one is "just" a performance of sorts) and several groups from the list have been there before (TXT, TBZ, MX, ONF, P1H) as well as other groups you've commented on before (N.Flying, Pentagon). The show basically just focused on eating a really nice meal together that the two hosts (a chef and a comedian) cooked for them. The reason they made this show was actually bc they pitied the strict diets idols had to go on and wanted to feed them proper meals 😭 The hosts always created a good and funny atmosphere so this was honestly one of my all time favorite variety shows and is definitely worth checking out.

dude you gotta do zb1 i’ve been checking your patreon everyday for zb1 since you posted the in bloom reaction 😭

c613b

for zb1 content, i would definitely recommend their appearance on weekly idol, the two kstarnextdoor episodes and their idol human theater! i think these give a pretty decent first look into them and are fun to watch. their zb1 folder 1 and 2 are also shorter and fun bits on their own youtube channel, but sometimes slightly more fastpaced and with more inside jokes. either way, i hope you'll enjoy whatever you choose if they end up being picked for this month!

zb1 being in the lead is unexpected but veryyy hype hehe if you need suggestions for zb1 or nct, lmk!

I really recommend BtoB’s show “BTOB's Three Meals”. It is on YouTube with eng subs. It is basically them 2 days and 1 night chilling in the countryside. eating, drinking and playing games. Really chill and cozy autumn vibe and also hella funny. It has 6 episodes, 16- 20 min each. Or if you will be in the mood of checking out the album, I highly recommend “Brother Act.” one. “Missing you” is the title there and it is probably my ult favorite album of theirs.

PanDi

I'm not sure if it fits your criteria for variety as it's not technically their show but it's also a 3 episode series, but the Seventeen X Game Caterers was hilarious. Oh and there are a few episodes of No Prepare with Seventeen members, Hoshi's was great and the DK & Joshua one was amazing. I think other members have been on the previous version of the show but I haven't seen those.

Idol Human Theater, Leemujin Service, shows like that are what I'm looking at. Maybe trying the new version of Weekly Idol, episodes of Idol League (I have the ATEEZ episode already downloaded). I've wanted to check out that K-Star Next Door show finally, which is hosted by Jonathan.
