You are a jpop fan. Seems a lot of Kpop fans don't know they are jpop fans and swear that the Japanese releases from their favorite groups are the best music they put out. That just means those fans like jpop more than kpop. They just don't realize it. Jpop sounds will never carry over to KPOP - EVER. Why? Because it absolutely doesn't sell outside of Japan. I am going to bet money, that you have never bought an ITZY japanese album. Japan doesn't market to the west, they don't have distributors for most releases and the cost is just too high.
Since you and others seem to like the sound of JYP groups Japanese releases. Go show some love to Japanese artists too, don't listen to Jpop only when a Korean group does it. That is really truly sad. If you aren't willing to do that, perhaps cut back on the "Japanese releases are better and should be featured in kpop" talk because that is not a financial winner for anyone.

There's something about JYPE groups and Japanese releases that just tick all of the boxes for me. I've liked TWICE's JP title tracks more than their Korean ones recently and the same goes for ITZY here. I would love for this sound to carry over to their Korean stuff.
