They would play a couple games here and there but 95% of it was just Seventeen on vacation and experiencing the country they went to. The first episode was really good as it starts off showing everything the crew did to fool the members into the surprise trip when they least expect it.

2024-06-05 12:15:43 +0000 UTCTheir Youth Over Flowers, which was renamed NANA TOUR this time around, actually ended being one of NA PDs most costly shows he's ever produced in his 20 years of tv show producing. The Youth Over Flowers budget is usually kept manageable by keeping a concept of a youthful backpacking vacation so the cast members have to be frugal in how they travel. For Seventeen this time, the crew decided that since SVT were pretty full speed ahead overworked, that a backpacking concept wasn't suitable. All the activities, accommodation, and travel for this show was all relatively bougie considering they brought 12 cast members. (S Coups was dealing with his recovery of his surgery so he couldnt feasibly go) It's a pretty big baller move from Na PD and his team to commit to such a massive budget considering that they probably knew profit from ratings and product placements probably didn't even cover the cost of the show.

2024-02-24 19:22:12 +0000 UTCbtw Seungkwan is really athletic and probably the best at ballsports. He loves Volleyball and badminton the most (he was on a badminton reality show too and the ace of the team), but he also likes to play soccer, futsal and as you just saw basketball.

2024-02-24 17:01:22 +0000 UTCThem winning youth over flowers like that seems hard to believe if you don't know Na PD's always makes huge spontenous bets with his castmembers on his show and has to actually follow through, it's one of the things that makes his shows so fun! Like on Mino's first episode after joining one show (New Journey To The West) he gets sucked into (and loses) a bet to shave his head and they call YG himself on the spot to ask for permission. Later Mino wins a porsche against all odds (lmao) and Na PD begs him to swap it, so he wished Winner could have a season of Youth Over Flowers, which had only been filmed with actors before (big publicity for a young idol group). Wonwoo is a big fan of Na PDs old shows which is probably what gave him the confidence to do the same and ask for something big budget publically like that. It's a logistical nightmare but I imagine it's better cost wise ( especially compared to a porsche lol) because TV shows technically make money back on advertising etc? For SVT they ended up making a paid extended version of the show on Weverse which probably helped recoup costs too! SVTs show got called NaNa tour cause the actual concept of Youth Over Flowers is they're dropped somewhere and have to do missions to make enough money for food and lodgings but SVT have been going through it lately, so they made it a healing tour in italy which still involved some games and missions but more low stakes and less suffering!
