I'm excited you reacted to this! Pretty much everything you've said here reflects my exact feelings when I first listened to this album. IKIKIK was my favorite song immediately and this album really confirmed that wheein has my favorite solo discography in mamamoo, and one of my favorites in kpop too. The quality and cohesiveness of her music is just crazy. I will say, in the mood really didn't leave an impact on me at first, but a couple months later I listened to it and it just CLICKED. Became my running song, dancing song, shower song, cooking song, driving song etc etc. Btw, do you have a rule against reacting to unreleased songs? I know some reactors do, but Wheein performed one of the b-sides from her next album at her concert and the choreo is......something else

Def a cohesive album & I think the general throughline for me personally regarding Wheein's solo music is that it's all easy listening. I think thematically "I know I know I know" and "Here I Am" touch on the same topics of self-discovery/actualization but with different tones/stages -- "I Knowx3" had the spacey hopeful sounds & lyrically talk about blooming the light within, evading darkness and being better now, etc. , and then "Here I Am" was like the resolution of "I did it, I made it, I'm gonna keep going", where she penned that she will ride upon the storms, and then later brings the lyrics back to the light blooming within her heart. She was the credited lyricist only for "Here I Am" between the two, but I love that the messages of the intro/closeout of the album go hand in hand!
