2024-04-14 11:24:16 +0000 UTCSo, for the Heechul streaming drunk issue, it was taken out of context. Yes he was drunk and shouldn't have been, but there are two things you need to understand. One is how feminism has been warped in the public mind in Korea. What many men in Korea say is feminist is actually misandry, the hatred of men by women who claim to be feminists. The group Heechul was speaking against is one of these "feminist" misandry groups. This specific group of women often wrote hateful slut-shaming posts about both Sulli and Goo Hara when they had their "scandals." Heechul was good friends with both of them, and I am sure he and others blame this particular group for having a hand in what happened to both Sulli and Hara. So, while he should not have been drunk, you can't blame a friend for standing up to his friend's bullies. Also, most female idols say that as they start out they are often warned against certain men in the industry to stay away from and Heechul has always been deemed to be the safest as he has no fear in standing up for other people and will take care of his juniors in all situations. He even wrote a book on what female idols go through in the industry and he interviewed several groups about it, and they didn't hold back including discussing with him openly about female issues such as dieting, periods, and other "taboo" topics (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Igv_i7w744g). Lol, sorry for the essay, but as an ELF who sees a lot of misinformation out there about her idols, I have to correct it when I can and hope that people will actually listen.

They were regulars on the show and after Doni and Coni left weekly idol, Twice hasn't gone back but instead chose to only appear on Idol room hosted by the two and still stay good friends with both Doni and Coni. I remember Doni and Coni always mentioning that Twice episodes are the most fun to film because of that. Twice wearing Idol Room limited edition merch to the airport, Doni and Coni sending food trucks to the girls during their schedules and to Onces during comebacks, Twice inviting all their families to the concerts, hanging out with their kids, etc. Of course there are those who hate the 2 because their humor is particular and they think that idols weren't comfortable with them, but I didn't see it like that, quite the contrary in the case of Twice. And I think ep 2 is just as funny, so if you ever feel like it I'm sure others would like to see it as well. The comment is already too long, I'll reserve my thoughts on the Heechul Momo situation..

2024-04-13 16:02:05 +0000 UTCThis Heechul x Momo throwback hits different now π π And your right, coming from a 2nd Gen K-pop fan, Heechul is indeed a 25 in a 45 year old body ~~~ And K-Pop during this time was much more raw, chaotic and free (of course toxic fans are still there) / 2016 was post WGM era (We Got Married) where idol interactions was still awesome.
