2024-06-10 17:00:39 +0000 UTCand a little background....KingKong was an acting agency on it's own and then in the mid 2010s they merged with Starship (which at the time was ONLY a music company) which is why they're still known as KingKong by Starship instead of just Starship

2024-05-16 04:09:44 +0000 UTCwhat Yeh Wolf said. Son Seung Heon is acting ROYALTY. He's been acting since the 90s and in the 00s he had dramas that like 50-60% of all of korea watched. Lee Dong Wook and Kim Beom are also insanely popular and have have been acting for a long time (and oddly, very recently played brothers in Tale of the 9 Tail which was super popular). Chae Soo Bin had a 2-3 year run where she was acting against top male leads as the female lead. The popularity of A+ actors like these DWARFS kpop popularity in korea (as odd as that sounds). Yoo Yeon Seok is super popular as well and generally acts in more slice of life type dramas vs being known for his looks like the other 3 actors. For the other actors, they're all so young so still kind of climbing the ranks but have been in hit dramas like Reply and Alchemy of Souls. As far as the soloists....K.WILL has been singing since 2007 and is a solo R&b/ballad singer and is well established as an OG in the industry for his voice and accomplishments both as a performing artist as well as a bunch of producing/arranging/etc behind the scenes. Dont know if you've ever reacted to his video "Please Don't" but it was a SUPER popular song AND MV bc the MV had this super huge twist at the end and featured some very popular actors

2024-05-16 03:56:48 +0000 UTCI think the most well known actors in this are Song Seung Heon (he is definitely on the list of top actors) Lee Dong Wook (He also stars in a lot of top rated dramas, the most notable is Goblin) Kim Bum (He is one of the leads in hit drama Boys Over Flowers, he also had a drama with Lee Dong Wook where they played as brothers) Lee Kwang Soo (Although he is mostly known as a past member of Running Man and as a comedian, but he also has a lot of dramas under his belt) and Yoo Yeon Seok (He's in the hit drama Hospital Playlist S1 & S2, Reply 1994 and Dr. Romantic which is my favorite drama of his.) While the others are rising actors. The one person you've been referring to as turtle is Chae Soobin, she really is really. Her notable dramas are Love in the Moonlight (although she's not the main lead but I believe this is where she became well known), Rebel: Thief Who Stole The People ( It's a historical drama and for me, her best yet), I'm Not A Robot and Rookie Cops (her male lead here is Kang Daniel) I'm also hoping that CUBE would participate in this as we know how chaotic the CUBE groups are (especially (G)I-DLE) but there's no hope now as BTOB is no longer in CUBE and knowing how trash CUBE is.

You're right it's really fun having the idols mix in with actors- definitely feels like it adds a different dynamic to the show.
