Tough, strong-willed, self-doubting yet kind-hearted, she's now 30, newly married, and with a beautiful four year old daughter. She seems happier today than I've ever known her troubled mind to be, which is wonderful.
Here she is a couple of years ago in my bathtub, illuminated only by glow sticks after a long night of deep conversation and a little bit of whiskey.
Most of my shoots begin more as a time to catch up between old friends, then it seems we take photos almost as an after thought. It might not be ideal for some photographers, but it works for us.
