Cherish in Bed

Scroll down through the archive, it's worth it) she returned home for another visit. After we spent our usual hour or so catching up, we decided to shoot more photos, which is often implied as a given, though neither one of us feels that our friendship hinges upon the model/photographer relationship. Actually, the last two years we haven't shot any images at all, just hung out and played board games.
Since I was in a bit of a somber, more serious mood at that moment (which most creatives will attest to is a constant struggle), I opted for a simpler, softer set of images. This is one of the last shots we took that afternoon before her wonderful fiance, now husband, came by and we all hung out together. I've always been hard on the guys my friends and models date, but her husband is a keeper, for sure.
