Added 2016-01-11 22:29:40 +0000 UTCThis might be my favorite image from that whole day. It's so simple and elegant, it's easy to fall in love with her image. Alina told me her real passion was acting, and modeling had fallen into her lap as a by-product. When I asked her what would be a role she would love to try, she surprised me by saying she would love to star in a horror movie, being required to scream and run and all those other fun, out-going cliches.
Her desire to act more made me later appreciate her images on a deeper level, and I saw from that point on the characters she subtly embodies in her work with other photographers.
