If you have a problem with it that is fine but it is fake and as someone who watches hentai with a big chunk of hentai in the rape category it doesn't really affect me much. But in this series the rape doesn't only consist of guy raping girl. The first episode has already shown that it has girl raping guy even though some people say it could "never happen" (which it does happen and a lot more than people give it credit for). I can understand how someone should definitely stay far away from this series if they have a past trauma with that kind of stuff. I just wanna see the MC get his revenge and whatever way it happens is enough for me as long as it is interesting throughout the story and not just straight up rape and torture and stuff without adding on to the plot line.

Near the end where they had that long conversation back and forth they constantly kept showing emilia in his eyes while emilia didn't show subaru but after they kiss and he wins emilia over with his words they finally show emilia's eyes with subaru in them. Kind of referencing how subaru loved emilia the whole time and emilia finally loved subaru back. I may be wrong tho lol just seems like it meant that

Y'all probably don't remember them because of the gap between season 1 and season 2, but they helped Subaru fight against the White Whale and witch cultists.

Like you don't remember that subaru hatched a plan at the very end of season 1 and told the dog guy to go make sure their weren't any captives while they handled the town and betelguese? This was his final plan in season 1 and the dog guy was specifically talking about subaru because it was his plan who helped them find anyone (which happened to be otto) that may have been taken captive. Also the crying scene with his family is because otto was always afflicted with the voices and the voices seemed to drown out everything around him. They couldn't understand what was wrong with him but they found out he had a divine blessing called soul of language. Apparently having a divine blessing is rare and important and since they finally got otto to write out what was happening with him they started crying after all that time of figuring out what it was. I may be wrong in some areas because I haven't read into the series at this point but that is what I mainly gathered from this episode to help you guys with any confusion.
