so yea when he uses heal he gains all their experiences and it is kind of like an overload to his brain. So when he used that on her near the end he gained her memories and it overloaded his brain from gaining them so quick. That is also how he was so good in the flashback against the demon lord because he gained new experience and techniques through all those people he healed. Also they used narcotics and stuff to force him into drug addiction and then it makes it possible for him to do what they want since he is so addicted to the drugs they have. Even if he wanted to not heal them they would force him to do it in different ways. That is why he wanted to build up immunity to narcotics and stuff because it took him so long to have the immunity in his previous life.

I hate it when people say an anime is controversial for a couple reasons, 1. American anime viewers are called crybabies in japan because they allow everything to offend them and you just can't force western ideologies on eastern society. And 2. It always reminds me of goblin slayer. All the shock in ep 1 (or early in the series) to get people talking, then it's 11 episodes of some generic harem buddy fest. It's a ripoff. I hope this one has some substance honestly. I dig the premise of the story.
