I have problems with more than just the CGI they are excessively putting in but also the characters as well. I just don't care about majority of them. Maybe that will change when I watch it all. And let me 100% clear, Eren is best boi. I do read the manga. EREN IS MY BOI. I will ride with him to the end. No Eren was swallowed whole he lost an arm and a leg but it has already been solidified that you need to ingest a titan shifter's spinal fluid in order to take their power. And about how Eren first transformed, Eren need intent/ a goal, and a light injury to first transform. At that point he had already consumed his father(even if he did not know it at the time) he lost his arm and leg, and had the intent and goal to kill every titan. Hope this helps as a refresher. But I think when you need to get one of the power you need to bite down on their spine to get the spine fluid of the titan power. I think they talked about it before about that so titan just didn't bite down eren on his spine if he did he would have gotten the power.

He's always been obsessed with "ridding the world of titans". He came off almost unhinged. I'm js the argument of is Eren good or evil for what he did is irrelevant, he's driven by his need to crush his enemies. Always have been.
