And the Origin of the Spiral is also the same thing Tohsaka (Rin’s dad) is trying to reach in Zero. Basically what Zouken Matou is trying to get to as well in a more roundabout way. It’s basically where everything comes from and what everything will go back to once it has died. Since Shiki has a connection to it she’s pretty op

The institution Touka, Cornelius, and Araya studied at is the same one that Waver goes to post Fate/Zero. Also the same place the flashforward takes place in at the end of UBW

This one's crazy difficult to keep track off, but it's an absolutely incredible movie with both some of the most interesting themes and greatest fights. The easiest way to keep track is actually to look for the order of objects in the background. For example, when Aozaki shows up for the second time you see two of her red cars and one silver car between them. Immediately after that they show Kokutou and Tomoe pull up in that exact same silver car. So you know they arrived sometime after Aozaki died. The entire point of the movie is to make the viewer just as confused as Tomoe, which it succeeds at doing. This movie has three different time skips mentioned, none of which we see in order and most of which we see from multiple perspectives. We have the half year that Tomoe and his family have been dead, we have the 7 days that Tomoe stays back to back with Shiki, and then we have a briefly mentioned 8 days where he doesn't visit her at all, on the 8th day of which is their first visit to the apartment building. Everything after that is chronological but told from shifting perspectives that only ever go back a few hours. Also, this is definitely when the movies really show that Aozaki's actually a pretty incredible mage. She's a puppet user who has managed to create a puppet of herself that's an exact copy in every single way. She's effectively immortal once her puppet sets about to make its own replacement. Which is exactly why Araya kept her head alive, he realized the moment that puppet died another one would appear, this one having already seen through all their tricks and coming much better equipped. As for the "Shiki trancends everything comment" you're actually not too far off. She's basically a direct connection to the source that all mages are seeking and she was able to get a closer view of the "truth" than anyone else. That's why we saw those rapid flashes to events she both did and didn't witness herself, it's her waking up inside his barrier and seeing more of the truth. The entire fight with Araya is basically Shiki at her truest strength. This movie's not only long but it's probably the one packed with the most details and complex ideas. It's the one that always takes the longest to understand, but that's part of why it's always been my personal favorite just barely about 7.
