I’m not going to spoil anything, but it really captured the concept of “you can’t have your cake and eat it too” which I really enjoyed. For that reason, I trust that the author will guide it in a good direction in the anime only adaptation we seemingly are going to have. And the scene where the shelter gets raided does happen in the manga, but they skipped like literally 40 chapters or something close to that figure, which is wild.
