I was thinking Fortuna might be Puck too, but we dont really know how/if she dies and what Pucks origin story is so remains to be seen. They both seem to use those ice powers a lot, but then so does Emilia. Puck did kill Betelgeuse in Season 1 and didnt really say anything to indicate that they knew him though. Could be that Puck just saw Emilias memories and just copied some of Fortunas mannerisms.

Some pretty cool facts about this episode. We know the 7 deadly sins and all of the witches named after them but a little known fact is that there was actually 9 sins in historical past before 2 of them were rolled into other. Vanity/Vainglory was too similiar to Pride, and Melancholy was too similiar to Sloth, so we may be seeing another witch stil lto come. Another interesting thing is that many characters are named after stars. For example Betelgeuses name before this episode was just Geuse but after he absorbs the hidden hand witch factor Pandora renames him Betelguese which is a star in the orion cluster and the interesting fact is it is the star in irons arm hinting at the hidden hands. Now why that's interesting is Subura our best boy is the name of a star cluster Pleiades or its nickname the Seven Sisters (seven witches). And lastly Pandora herself. She is insanely powerful. She survived Satella killing of all the other witches. For all we know she could be stronger than Satella. She could be the Subarus main enemy. She can rewrite reality with just words. A truly awesome character and I'm excited to see more of her. Anyways cool facts that may or may not have any importance to the series.

With a series that is already super dialogue heavy the appearance of two characters that use super excessive dialogue just makes me hate them all the more. Honestly as much as I hate Regulus Cornass... I would put Pandora even above him in terms of annoyance.

Vanity (vainglory) and melancholy were folded into pride and sloth by later theologians resulting in the 7 they have now. So this shows author is pulling them out of the 7 and bringing them back to the 9. Which I guess means we will also have a witch of melancholy showing up. (am not a source reader). We now know pandora is the witch of Vanity so we can expect a witch of melancholy.

2021-02-03 21:03:03 +0000 UTCThe episode was mindblowing.... and emotional af. My face was like a waterpark toward the end there. I'm wondering if Puck is in the seal. Fortuna said something about the world ending, and Puck has the title "Beast of the End." But even though Puck is Emilia's father figure and not mother figure, I guess it's possible for Fortuna to somehow have turned into Puck? I mean, there's the ice powers, and there's the bit with her saying "Lia." And then in the movie Puck was saying how he kept searching and searching for her.... and Fortuna did say she'd always be with her.....you might be onto something. I just have a hard time imagining HOW that could have happened though.
