However, now that I'm thinking about it, something we have to keep in mind is that Emilia is a half-elf, and Fortuna's brother is Emilia's father, meaning that her mother was the non-elf side and it could be any of the witches other than Satella...not sure if Echidna is an elf or not.

Though I think someone mentioned that Satella did consume the witches, so that might be a thing where like, all the witches still have their own personalities but they each have a piece of Satella in them or something like that? Idk. I think her mom could be either Satella or Echidna for sure though, if anybody.

Echidna and Roswaal actually had some sort of thing going on between them, and what if Satella seduced Roswaal and..... that's why Echidna is so disgusted with Emilia? LOL. 2021-03-11 01:43:58 +0000 UTCSoooooo fucking epic. Elsa vs. Garfiel is the best fight in the series, imo. No contest (lol not difficult considering that battles/fights aren't really the focus of the series). Definitely my favorite Re:Zero episode ever, despite the lack of Echidna (Minerva makes up for that). The music was so fucking good, the visuals were so well-done artistically. Also really like the revelation that Elsa actually cares about someone other than herself. She's still fucked up, but she clearly legit cares about Maylie like a little sister (they're clearly not really sisters). Which is so damn crazy to think from someone like her, but that's what gave it so much impact. It's honestly getting tougher to decide between Echidna and Minerva for best girl. XD
