I am enjoying the hell out of it but there is a part of me that feels like it could have just been *more*.

I just think it is unfair to say one series is raising expectations for others when each series is always fundamentally different and proceeds in different ways. I guess you could say "most" think it is amazing but that happens with a lot of series. Any series that is good enough is going to have watchers where most think it is good or better. Not saying JJK is bad but it will eventually be seen as overrated by a lot of people just like the rest of the more popular anime. It is already seen as overrated by a lot of people already. Saying "most" isn't exactly anything to bring up. Most is the people that actually watch the series. This series still hasn't hit the popularity levels of some of the other big anime series. When it gets more popular it will have plenty of hate and a lot will openly admit that it isn't amazing or have problems with it. When it starts getting hundreds of thousands of views for just reactions alone like MHA, AOT, and demon slayer do is when it will start getting the same levels of judgement.

Im just making it extra noticeable that my feedback is majorly different than all the love here, bc as you can see, most seemed to enjoy this ep more than i did. but you are right, it is my opinion. and it is respectfuly yours that jjk isnt amazing like most think it is, such as me.

JJK has given much more this season compared to slime because slime has been basically just build up to this point but it still doesn't compare to rezero or mushoku tensei. That is your own opinion but don't expect everyone else to feel that way. I have skipped some of JJK cause it didn't interest me enough in some places. The same with slime. In fact my expectations haven't even been raised so high that I keep up with it week to week. I haven't even watched the past two episodes of JJK cause the appeal is slacking in some areas.

Maybe its cuz Im a villain simp 70% of the time, that said I didnt much like that they spent so much time on the that lowlife berserker dude. felt like he shouldve been dead within minutes. I was also expecting Rimurus act up to be a bit more flashy or messy. in short, i just expected more than what was presented. jjk prolly raising my expectations for shows other than itself ig lol

The guy's skill accelerated his perception of time by 300x and that didn't turn off the moment his head was cut off. It takes about 10 seconds for the brain to fully go unconscious after a beheading, which was stretch out 300x longer thanks to his skill. This means 3000 seconds before his brain shut off and he stopped recognizing the pain. That's 50 minutes. 50 minutes before he could even start to potentially no longer feel the pain of being decapitated. Even in the most generous estimates, the consciousness stays intact for at least 3 seconds. That would still be 15 minutes of pain. No matter how short of a time you give him to lose consciousness, there are still minutes of suffering in the pain of having his head cut off.

2021-03-17 02:12:14 +0000 UTCI love how we were able to see more from characters that we haven't seen much in action. We've only seen some action from them, but not much. I felt this batt... onslaught was a better gauge of how powerful they've gotten. With Gabiru, we've only seen a little bit against the og Orc Lord and Charybdis, but I found myself wanting to see his potential more. Geld we really haven't seen at all, except a very tiny bit against Charybdis. Benimaru we haven't really seen in action much since the battle against the og Orc Lord (I don't remember him against Charybdis much), and like you said, we haven't really seen him whip out the katana like that. All we've seen of Gobta was like one kick to the back of Gabiru's head, and him getting bodied by Hakurou during training. So it was cool to see him unleash a new technique there, looking like Rimuru and Ranga's black lightning but from the sheath of his sword. We've seen Hakurou in action, but not where he "takes the gloves off" in the form of opening his third eye. And we got to see Rimuru use a brand new spell.
