2021-03-28 02:56:06 +0000 UTCBeing a MHA and JJK fan, watching the Jujutsu finale yesterday and then this trash recap episode today had me tight; staring at my monitor with the stank face and all cause at least season 4 did the recap right. At least its over with and I can finally enjoy my favorite arc, the "Hori heard people running their mouths so this is the last time anyone smiles in this show" arc.

And like I said, it was just fancy effects shit for their individual quirks, and I can't be the only one who somewhat appreciated seeing everyone's hero name clearly listed there. Anyway, I can agree the episode was meh, but the reaction to it was way worse lmao. Had to stop the video early I was cringing so hard at the dead horse beating XD Looking forward to next week though.

What made it a recap was the fact that they had to explain what a quirk was again as if we haven’t known that for 5 seasons and they introduced the characters and their quirks/what they do AGAIN as if we haven’t been watching them for 5 seasons lmao. That is what makes it a recap episode. Yes this exercise was not canon and was technically new content, but going over characters and powers as if we are new to this series is the recap.

For me the only part that was really a recap was the Endeavor scene, and I didn't mind seeing that again. The explanation of quirks is essentially an intro they do every season, so that really doesn't matter much. Listing everyone's quirks isn't actually a "recap," but flashy and dramatic shounen effects. And I didn't mind seeing everyone's hero names. I didn't even know half of them before this episode.
