I think a similar concept to that white hood in S1 of Re:Zero that has magical concealment power or something, where someone you know could be looking right at you and listening to your usual voice, but something compels them to not recognize it. I think there was another series I saw that had something like that too, though I can't remember. That said, idk if it's actually true/canon or not with Clark Kent's glasses, but I heard they're specially made that way.

They're pretty much making fun of the concept by exaggerating it. That's my take on it. I think that's more satirical writing than lazy writing.

She gives him her number after she's seen him with Eve a bunch, she finds out he's Invincible but still acted like she didn't know and kept giving him a hard time even though she KNEW he was busy saving fucking lives, and then she comes back AFTER he gets out of the hospital from having his ass beat by his own superpowered dad.
