Also the feeling that YOU didn't really earn that lead vocal spot, or that long-sought praise from your overly-strict mother. I can't relate, but I felt that. That was a whole bitter bullet for Nodoka. Ouch. I knew almost right away she was gonna try and kill herself, her "FML" levels were definitely off the charts. My empathy levels were through the roof too, I cried almost as much as Nodoka did. Doesn't really get better on my second or third time watching.
