I told y'all you weren't ready. Imagine not being able to go to your girlfriend's funeral, because she was a celebrity and you have to stay on the DL and avoid the ruthless-ass media. This movie had me using half a box of tissues tryna keep my face from being a whole waterpark. I love this movie, but it's also probably one of the most painful movies I've ever seen. Pretty sure the creators were like, "How can we make the audience cry?" "Yes." I think you misunderstood something though. It WAS Sakuta's heart originally. It always was. That's why he had the scars on his chest. It only changed to Mai's heart when Shoko made them aware of what happens, and Mai was determined to save Sakuta at any cost.

It was great watching you guys enjoy all of BGS. The first 30 minutes or so of the movie are the worst, because for me seeing a kid who is both ill and aware that their death is coming just hits hard. I'm so f'ing happy Makinohara was able to survive, and that she is still aware of Sakuta. The movie was sadness and suffering up to that point; so the reveal of her survival right at the end made my sadness and suffering worth it 😂
